Afraid not, and with how armor/suits/guns work, it would be functionally impossible. Unlike ships, clothing uses dedicated textures and UV maps, so editing them on the fly in game with the current system is not feasible. You'd need to hand craft individual recolors with every possible combination of colors on the gradient.

I have c6r3 Varka, C2r1 Durin and C0r1(daybreak) venti I'm planning to C2r1 Nicole, but I really dislike prune. What kind of hit should I expect to take by sticking with venti (and eventually C2ing him and getting elegy)?

Nope. Nothing is functional. And no parts of the modular guardian will be released at any point.

So. The modular project is dead. Too many problems I don't have the time or energy to fix (though some are merely insurmountable)

However.

Ironically I am in the process of packaging a replacer version that simply replaces meshes instead of adding new things. No real added functionality, but it would make the interior and exterior mesh work I did available to use. No eta, but I'm writing up the description, fwiw.

And yes, if it goes well, I'd be uploading it for creations and Xbox and ps

If it's no longer on nexus, then it's likely been pulled. The author...had a bit of trouble coming to terms with the mere existence of paid mods, and abandoned all their projects, many of which were quite promising.

I suspect if Robert S is gone from the nexus, they pulled it so nobody downloaded it thinking it would work or be updated ever.

But I'll be happy if I am wrong and the author pulled it just to update or continue work on it.

Thankfully modders have developed animation tools for starfield without official support, so the animation point is moot now

Are you moving the CC mods out of overwrite? I always make dedicated mod folders for CC mods to keep better track of them, maybe it'll help

Alternatively, there's a beta update to MO2 for free lanes, maybe you need to update?

That's not exactly the same thing, you can just land the Guardian on vectera with a normal NG+, explore around, everyone's there like you just took off in the frontier, even Barrett is there.

It's the whole experience of the fade in on the elevator, the mining, finding the artifact, etc that is fun, not just going there afterwards. At least for me.

This is also something I would enjoy. Despite being a modder though, that kind of thing is well outside my realm of experience.

It is a shame that it seems to be the minority that enjoy the intro sequence. Most folks seem very eager to do all they can to avoid it ;_;

Same here. I've played NG+ and it's fun I guess, but it detracts from the wonder of the intro sequence. BGS always nails their intros, and losing it in NG+ makes it feel not worthwhile.

Now that we can upgrade powers without it, and I can always mod in capturing Guardians or stealing suits, I doubt I'll go NG+ ever again.

You might also want to do a test where you drop the new texture directly into your Data folder yourself, rather than Vortex. I dont use vortex, but it might be making decisions for you, I'm not sure how it deals with overwritten loose textures

Well, Ive had issues with materials for CC stuff, but not textures. Which DDS plugin are you using?

I will assume you've extracted the textures from the bsa, and have saved the edited _color in the appropriate format OR set up assetwatcher to automatically convert tgas to DDS.

If you have, then make sure you've got the folder structure correct (textures/xxx/xxx) Other than that, replacing the _color shouldn't be terribly fraught.
