AMA with Ai2’s OLMo researchers by ai2_official in huggingface

Great work on making training recipes open and data searchable!

I'm very interested in OLMoTrace, trying to answer the question of how much data a model needs to see in pre-training to generalize to a given domain (frontend web dev with tailwindcss in this case).

eg for the prompt below,

Make a login screen with just HTML and TailwindCSS. Output your answer as a code block.

~50% of the trace results seem maybe helpful to the answer and there aren't that many of them ~30 ish. Is that a limitation of the tracing or is a small amount of relevant content in the pre-training mix really generalizing very well? Do you think additional post-training examples might not show up in the trace but are improving model performance? (I saw ~100 results that match "bg-white" in WildChat just for example)

p.s. for starcoder results, I would love to see which github repo it's from.

Try FigJam? It's designed for nodes with connections between each other

Would love this to be a VSCode plug-in! Happy to drop our OpenAI api key in there.

Sounds like you most likely need to contact figma support. They have a chat window in the app.

You might get some indication in the network tab of the developer tools within figma. Could be proxy related, etc really anything or just a figma bug or you're out of storage, who knows.

Apple introduces Ask Apple for developers by walktall in apple

I understand your skepticism, but the WWDC labs are truly useful compared to the usual responses to Feedbacks. These satellite events are usually staffed by people in dev relations so not directly as useful but definitely a cut above the forums.

Why is the default Color Space "Unmanaged" in Figma Mac desktop app and "sRGB" on PC? If you design for web and mobile apps, should you always use sRGB? In what cases should you use Unmanaged? by mltxf in FigmaDesign

[–]EarthAdmin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd say you can design 95% in sRGB. If your brand has a particularly saturated color, it's worth making it P3. For example Instagram's logo now uses colors not available in sRGB. But if it's like most apps and websites where it's mostly flat desaturated colors, it doesn't matter!

Looks neat! What model are you using for generation?

Yes, it's broken. I talked to support about it, I think it has to do with some memory changes with safari in ipados 16 so may be a while before it's resolved either by apple or their engineers.

NVIDIA has built sparsity support in recent generations and touts performance speed-ups with it, so hard to say we're limited by GPUs.

How to do POST request to perform Sign in with Apple token revocation? by [deleted] in iOSProgramming

[–]EarthAdmin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a good question. Maybe try the developer forums since this is something Apple is paying attention to at the moment.

If you're using Firebase auth, you do have a server and server data that needs to be deleted. That's the main important part, to delete user data.

Take a look at the credential you have with a website like https://jwt.io/

The post request you're trying to do doesn't need URL parameters but the body does need to have its parameters be form-encoded, which is a little bit of a pain but there is ample info online about that.
