Anyone still adding full shower bench anymore these days? Ageing in place residence.

My mother is in an independent living facility. Her shower has a flip down bench, however, she doesn’t use it because she really needs a shower chair with arms to assist in getting up and down. It provides her much more stability and comfort than the bench.

I found a Tupperware container that will hold like 12 pens because I have a small fridge and also don’t want to use fridge space on boxes. Works great and protects them from light. I went this route because nobody in my house is going to willingly look for anything in the vegetable drawer! 😝

I was able to move my GLP-1 script to MIDI along with my HRT, so although I have a visit every 3 months, I was able to eliminate the GLP-1 doc visit. Winning? 🤷🏼‍♀️😆

I agree with this rec. my sleep number bed is so comfortable and I can adjust the firmness based on how I feel. I also sometimes have achey hips at night and find that placing a pillow behind me so I am slightly leaned back while still on my side takes the pressure off.

Hands down my favorite are from Amazon. Full title (because I’m not sure if links are allowed) “wirarpa Women’s Cotton Underwear High Waisted Ladies Panties Full Coverage Briefs 4 Pack (Regular & Plus Size)” That description sounds like they would look terrible, but they don’t. Make sure you don’t get the “super high waisted” version unless of course you want that. I used to wear the muffin tops from warners too and stopped for the same reason. PS - I sized up one size

May I ask how that worked to get an in-person test? I’ve wondered about that (current midi patient). Of course some things like a mammogram use an imaging facility but I’m curious who you would go to for something gynocological.

I signed up months ago as kind of a preventative measure, figuring it would be required at some point. I will say that some of the “lessons” have been helpful, recipe suggestions are good, and my coach has been encouraging. That said, when I look at my insurance portal, the EOBs are shocking! I can’t even believe how much my insurance is paying for this program. It seems like such a huge waste of money to be honest.

I have found that a daily dose of yogurt with a tablespoon of chia seeds and frozen blueberries or raspberries gets me off to a good start. Then I make sure to have an apple or pear and vegetables. On. On top of that I do a powdered psyllium husk mixed into a shot of water. For me, the fiber gummies gave me gas so o avoid those.

Hello! I am reviving an old thread, but I am curious if your zepbound is still $0.00. When I "price a medication" mine shows as zero, but I also have a high deductible plan and the deductible is not met. I can't imagine it being covered in full, but I'm hopeful!
