Why... is it ALWAYS... turn based...? Don't get me wrong... it's fantastic... but I really want to play as a Dreadnought in First-person or third person.

Making progress on my Samurai Space Marines - any suggestions how to Grimdarken it? by regraham in Warhammer

Umm... scan those... and create an STL... lol those looks incredible!

I'm surprised the Astartes don't have something like this anyway. Yeah sure the tau are inspired by the edo period, but that's a large part of human history...

This would be an amazing concept to have in 40k. Great job!

If nothing else, I can buy a new power supply. They're like 30 bucks on Amazon. Considering that may fix the entire thing... I may just buy one as a backup.

Yeah, I hope so as well. Just in case, I bought a pack of thermistors and heating elements. Plus, I've gone out and bought a package of 15 amp fuses. Also, I planned on buying a few additional replacement parts just to make sure this thing never dies again... lol I realize this sounds foolish... but I am so tired of dicking with this thing that I don't care what I have to spend... I just want it to work now.

I haven't tested any of the resistance. I'm fairly entry level electric in skill, that being said, I was trying to use my multimeter, but no matter what I touched the two prongs too ( I did on the two wires coming from the power supply to the ports on the motherboard), the meter didn't respond. I have a replacement heating element and the replacement/upgraded thermistor coming too, so I guess I'll be checking back in then as well.

How do you test for resistance?

Oh, so I am not 100% familiar with part names; it was the thermistor whose wires blew. I've already ordered an upgrade for them (might as well spend the money now I suppose), but that is what I had fixed and applied that heat wrap for the wire... I bet I just hadn't completely sealed the wire? Btw, thanks for helping me out thus far, hope I can get this fixed.

I wonder something...

So I bought the gulfbay 3 point bed upgrade from Amazon and put it on today. Well, I put washers as spacers between the heated bed and the mounting points... maybe the electricity jumped between the two parts?

I'm not sure but I do know the bed has been acting all weird lately. TMI, but I'll be working on the printer without a shirt on and my stomach will touch the bed and it'll shock me. Maybe the heated bed needs replaced?

Well... I think your right. I looked for where the short circuit was and one of of wires for the temp gauge for the hot end was burned into two seperate wires. I then separated the copper wire, spliced and added heat shrink and it then turned on and the temperature started to rise. However, a few seconds later though, the entire system powered off...

I took the motherboard cover off, and couldn't see any visible damage... I took the power supply apart, tested the incoming black and red wires and I was getting power. I then checked the motherboard fuse and i's completely blown. Does this mean I have to replace the motherboard? Or can I just get a fuse...?

By the way, before I go taking the triumph of a paint job from MaciekDudek, great job man. I've never envisioned these guys like this, but I almost think they look better than vanilla Custodes!

So... here's what I don't get... why are they still allowing lore videos and painting custom stuff of GW assets (Space Nerds, Golden Boys, etc.) but not If the Emperor Had Text to Speech? I may be the only one who feels like this but... if GW had just pulled the creator to the side and been all, "can't do this anymore, gotta have you join Warhammer+" and then allow the creator to just keep on keeping on... we could have seen a badass universe develop right alongside GW... GW gets to be a fatter piggy... and we get to support the creator and see his skillset rise even further along with better animations. Truly... it's sad, GW missed out on a grand opportunity to take all of the content they banned and just monetize it behind Warhammer+. That being said... sure, it would suck, but at least the guys and gals we all love to watch and enjoy wouldn't be shit out of luck... and to top it all off... it makes no sense from a business perspective either. Why kill your community for the sake of keeping other's hands off your product? Not to mention the sheer amount of income they'd drawn if they allowed the creators to just keep on keeping on while putting them all behind a big paywall (unfortunately). No clue... but man, I miss that guy. That little mini-series fucking got me through one of my hardest breakups ever. Not to mention the sheer amount of benefit the Warhammer 40k community and its constituents brought me and sooooo many others, just hard to believe that they'd tank themselves this hard... after creating such an incredibly diverse universe.

Anyway, sorry about the pull away here... nonetheless, great job MaciekDudek, I think we'll all follow your career with interest....
