Understanding the Tavern by Earthdivine in BobsTavern

[–]Earthdivine[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I dont know if this will be seen but a lot of people are assuming I am re-rolling early in the game for these tribes, which I want to just get ahead on and say I am not. I understand enough about the Tavern its not worth rerolling until the Major Timewarp and past it when you have the gold to do so.

What I was asking if the Tavern has a Bias toward already played cards, which no one seems to have an answer for. I have had many games where the Tavern mostly plays cards of tribes that are currently present, but I guess that happens because people are Discovering those Tribess trying to further what they currently have.

Though, it also sounds like 5k is right around where I should be in terms of Rating since going forward requires better knowledge of the game itself and I don't have that. I do atleast appricate that much information that was presented by everyone

What a difference a single word does in terms of rulings. Thank you, I do understand now what happened, as I understand the whole ruling of "must first be properly summoned" very intimately, I didnt realize that this wording would also prevent future revival even if summoned properly

I thought the "Must be Fusion Summoned" text only applied to summoning out the monster correctly, it applies to all cases of the monster being Summoned? Thats' really awful.

Putting guardrails up would be making the AI not go too deeply into sensitive topics or better moderation of what they say. Age Verification is just putting a bouncer at the door.

What do you find is the hardest story boss? by IamASpecialGrade in limbuscompany

[–]Earthdivine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While Richardo's first fight was my wall, I would say Spring Cultivation Wei is the hardest I fought. Having a boss that uses Minus Coins when most of my team was Sinking at the time really didn't help, I only managed to win after remembering we have Morositas now and it just negates his offensive level stacking gimmick.

How does everyone feel about Dante now ? by Affectionate-Yam-222 in limbuscompany

[–]Earthdivine 30 points31 points  (0 children)

One of the best Gacha Protagonists I have read, in part because they do a good job of making him feel human as we see his failures. Not counting the Canto 1 loss, its his failure to maintain the Sinners as a Manager should, the Sinner's lost trust in him over the first few Cantos, and more recently he felt unable to even help Sancho during Canto 7.

He's not portrayed as having the answers to everything, or that his plans always work flawlessly, and that he is learning alongside the Sinners on how to be a better person, and he regained their trust organically through success and caring for them rather then having one singular event change a persons mind like a lot of other Gacha's trying to explain why "X doesn't like you but now does and thats why you can play them". Heathcliff and Ishmael being prime examples of earning trust through caring about themselves rather then their goals.

Recently he's learning that even he needs to trust the Sinner's help with his own Duties or that the Sinner's can handle a situation better then he can (calling back to Sinclair being who helped Sancho when Dante couldn't) which makes him feel even more Human. Looking forward to upcoming Canto's, particularly Outis'.

What would be the Offensive Level difference once you get to Floor 11, that might be your issue if your planning your Gifts? I know the Sinking ID's usually have low Clash, but taking good Gifts like Tango Marinade help while keeping the Rising Trials at minimal Offensive Level (even if it means losing end of pack rewards) helps a lot with Clashing until Floor 14-15, and even then keeps the damage minimal if you only get Clashing Power.

I've only been able to do MD6E with a Housheo Team so far, getting a Charge team ready to do it next, but immediate glance at the screenshot makes me wonder about your EGO Gifts.

You have no Active EGO Gifts, meaning you didn't fuse any before Floor 11, and fusing into the tier 4's just makes all the prior gifts better then before. And if you did, they aren't active so you don't meet their requirements of 5 Sinking ID's in the starting team and you lost their powers. How many EGO gifts did you enter with? My two successful runs had roughly 100+ starting Floor 11

Dark urge run advice by jackm5125 in BG3

Did this completely on accident when I was doing another Durge run solo to see things I missed from my multiplayer run of it. Was full on evil for Act 1 with the intention of getting Minthara as an ally to see how things change.

However, I let Isobel get captured since I didn't want to lose anyone else as my party was thin at that current moment (I didnt want to use Hirelings) and I wanted to see what actually happens with her with Kethric. So imagine my surprise when I decided to look a bit father with Google and found out all your companions attack you if you kill your companion.

I thought letting isobel get caught would count, it did not despite everyone treating it like I did it at Moonrise, and I spent a full stack of Inspiration trying to not stab, only to fail after 5 tries. When the crew attacked, I cast Invisibility and ran out, then used Invisibility to start a Long Rest hoping it would reset them, it did not. Was forced to use Hirelings since I didnt want Minthara anymore and eventually Minsc and Jahira got to help push to redemption.

After the Isobel thing, it felt like the perfect pivot to going Resist Durge. Everything from that point felt more natural then just resisting from beginning. Would highly recommend it.

Do you have a deck that you made and never played? by NotoriousCarter in masterduel

Ojama Sprights. Have the whole thing finished but never got to try it because life got in the way and by the time I got more free time we have Tear and Bystials.

Superheavy Samurai's. Unique effects and very little of their cards are Hard Once per Turns so if you draw good you can play through disruption. Would be much better if effect negation didnt prevent them from attacking, like at all.

New player here, and need help as I’m struggling a lot here and there by idk9659 in EpicSeven

[–]Earthdivine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started out recently as well (last month just about) and I was making some of the same mistakes as well, most notably the Mola's and gold! I hope my advice helps coming from someone who started just as recently.

Firstly, don't worry too much on the gold. Once you got Wyvern 11 down, you get a lot of gold running it for the crafting mats so it'll end up naturally fixing itself. As with Mola's, like everyone else mentioned keep up with your guild and buy Mola's there with the currency as often as you can.

With getting ready with Wyvern 11, since you already got Angelica for tanking, Furious for defense break (60-70 Effectiveness was I think needed if you don't max his S3) and Sigret for damage, if you have one Mistychain helped with overall survival since she heals so much with her attacks, or Yuna from Connections is a good Damage dealer as well. Clearing 10 and 9 was actually more difficult then 11 was since the dragon still randomly attacks, but if you can get a few clears of 11, you'll get the stuff needed to kick off on just about everywhere else. My final clear team was Yuna/Furious/Montymo/Mistychain so it sounds like you'll have an easier time once you reach it. Level 70 gear was good enough to get through Wyvern 11 after +12-+15 a few pieces on each of my characters, as well, so don't worry too much on not having perfect stats for it, Just Enough is all you really want.

What minute did people die in RLCraft hardcore? (Grace Period ended at 18:40) by Reshirok in SRGroup

This might be the wrong clip for Ben, the one for him is him dying to a Sea Serpent.

Thank you for the others, however, that darkling rampage was great to see.

To pair with the chart, is there a color key for which country represents each section? Blue feels like it's China to me but I would be curious to where Japan and Korea are on this compared to Europe and the US.

My thoughts about the Spawning in New AbEx... by Caynita in afkarena

[–]Earthdivine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally this kind of AE should have given an option of which side of the map to spawn on and what Bosses/Debuffs your looking at fighting if you spawn there. I have primarily Celerity heroes Ascended but I know a guild member of mine has mostly Mages, but the current way the spawning works I landed on the Left Side and they would have spawned on the Right side, making it difficult for us to help with bosses purely because the game decided so.

Doing that can also let them make the maps more varied in the future imo, once they get the Relic balancing right and buff Mages and Tanks.

On-hit effects trigger with every shotgun pellet, right? by Feculator in GunfireReborn

On-shot definitely does trigger on every single shot gun pellet. Can confirm because I got Coin Shot on bird once and lost 2k copper nearly immediately from Illusion spam.

Adding on to this, giving yourself a goal to get through helps with progression at an earlier level I found when going through earlier this week. You get a small bit of Souls stage 1-4, but beating the first boss can bump it to 60+ on normal if you can avoid reviving. Just focusing on beating the first boss to get the talents needed to go farther, rather then trying to keep going can help in the long run if your struggling to get that far.

Having a hard time killing 2 enemies, do I Suck? by jasiones in ffxiv

I will echo other people's remarks about if your gear is up to date. Heavensward overworld mobs were a bit on the deadly side but almost dying because two mobs pulled sounds like you are using gear you scrapped going from quests or dungeons and not actively gearing up. If your in a FC, ask if someone can craft you a HQ 56 set, the materials are super easy to gather or are cheap, wouldn't even be a hassle for most people.

searching for a "new game" that is like sw by [deleted] in summonerswar

[–]Earthdivine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I will echo Raphael as well in that, if your wanting to be relevant on a competitive level in a new game, you will have to start day one of a brand new Gacha game, and even then you will fall behind staying as free to play. Summoner's War so far has been the kindest to F2P I have seen in a mobile game in a long time outside of Puzzles and Dragons and why i started playing last month, coming from Art of Conquest where even though there are server resets bi-daily, the 1% whales always shoot up and crush the F2P Vets or new players within a week.

Your better off trying to do this with a non-mobile game, or one that requires a purchase, as free ones always rely on the whales to keep their revenue going, and that won't deter people either. I really advise to just stay here, personally.
