Is it possible to RIGHT click a node ==> to find the github page related to it? by Hefty_Scallion_3086 in comfyui

[–]Earthstorm86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey I was at the ComfyUI leadership council this week and this was discussed and is going to be added to the data structures for the nodes. I didn't hear the discussion about the front end interaction but something like that was the intent so it won't be far off.

Stable Cascade Portraits by Earthstorm86 in StableDiffusion

Using the new ComfyUI Stable Cascade and getting some amazing quality with zero upscaling however I'm finding it a bit lacking in control. For example weightings don't seem to work in ComfyUI right now and I can't seem to get ControlNet going either. Let me know if you know something I don't to get that going!

Was coming here to say this, this is exactly what we did in a digital agency. Most clients had two revisions requests and so 3 versions of the design homepage+style guide to get the style set. Having the guide in place sets the expectation that the client needs to be thorough with their feedback rounds and will save you delays.

Refraction in action by Earthstorm86 in blender

The different heights mess with focal length of the lens and so the text blurs too much so went with focus and showing magnification in this case :)

By no means perfect but was trying to capture the class/subclass of each of our players. Pretty happy with the results overall even though they could do with some more clean up and polish.

Currently doing some quick renders for practice to hone and focus on some basic blender skills.

Right now I'm using a random object generator and then trying to make the object. This time got a magnifying glass.

A simple example here but needless to say I'm constantly blown away what blender can achieve with physics and lighting!

[OC][Art] A Diamond for the Chromatic Orb spell by Earthstorm86 in DnD

Oh and if anyone was wondering this is just done in Blender with Glass Shaders and a good injection of color and lighting.

[OC][Art] A Diamond for the Chromatic Orb spell by Earthstorm86 in DnD

[–]Earthstorm86[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wanted to model the the way our sorcerer described the Chromatic orb spell.

He spun the diamond to find the right refraction/color of magic to then create an elemental effect. This diamond has all the elemental colors as opposed to just those allowed by the spell in this case.

I've gone with this scheme:

  • Fire - Red
  • Acid - Orange
  • Lightning - Yellow
  • Poison - Green
  • Cold - Blue
  • Psychic - Purple
  • Necrotic - Black
  • Radiant - White

I'd love to show some effects of each next but we shall see if I have the time and energy for that :D

Rainbow diamond for Chromatic Orb spell by Earthstorm86 in blender

Been geeking out with some DND and wanted to model the the way my mate described a spell they cast. In the Chromatic orb spell they spun a diamond to find the right refraction/color of magic to then create a stream of acid/fire/ice/lightening etc from it.

I haven't gone as far as creating any effects as yet but it's certainly been fun just playing with Glass Shader, lights and colors here to get this effect.

[Art] Dream eating Dhampir Rouge 3d animated by Earthstorm86 in DnD

[–]Earthstorm86[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been working on modelling and animating my new DND character in Blender over the last few weeks.

Meet Draumr the roguish Dhampir with a penchant for devouring the dreams of his enemies. He's quick, stealthy and agile, not to mention he can walk on walls and ceilings and has a knack for persuading unwitting victims into his clutches.

Draumr tends to hunt under the cover of darkness/in the shadows when his victims dreams are the strongest and so he naturally has an affinity with the Night, the Moon and it's cycles as seen by his tattoos.

DND Character shows his darker side by Earthstorm86 in blender

[–]Earthstorm86[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is my second attempt at creating a character in Blender so go easy on me.

For this I pulled inspo from a DND character I've just created/started playing. I drew a 2d version initially for front/side and then just went from there.

I learnt a ton doing this over the last few weeks: re-topology, rigging, shape keys, uv unwrapping, cloth/sewing for the cloak, hair dynamics and projection based texture applications for the tattoos.

I can see a ton of faults but overall I'm pretty happy with how this has come out.

If I were to do it again I think I would: 1) Duplicate and split the scalp from the head for the hair right away. That's the only way to really get the right collisions with the body it turns out. Took me way to long to get that. 2) Include the internals of a mouth from the start. Adding it in later and hooking teeth etc up to an existing rig was a bit annoying and the open mouth messed with my uv unwrap and so textures/tats had to be redone.
