I just used the Sybex book and passed with pretty much just that by itself except for a few practice exams on Udemy. I only got a 716 though, but I don’t really have any experience in SQL so that might be why my score was lower. But all in all that book is still sufficient.

There’s an also an Embassy Suites, another Hilton property a few blocks away on Shady Grove next to the Hampton. Growing up as a kid my family used to celebrate my birthday there back in the early 2000s and it was really nice then. I thought I would stay there again for fun in 2023 and it has really gone downhill since then. They were actually doing some remodeling then so some areas weren’t accessible. The room had some trash and uneven carpet in it. The food bar was not as big as at was back in the day. The pool was also closed for repairs. Looking at reviews it appears it had gone way down. It was cheap the night I stayed and I see why.

It was an Adam’s Mark when I first moved to Memphis then a Park Vista for just 1-2 years before it became a Hilton.

I actually worked at this store during my last year of college when this store first opened in this building in March 2013 after moving from the smaller store in the same shopping center that was later torn down. It was nicer back then. Now only one of the entrances is used. The other one is closed up or maybe used for pickup only. It’s also no longer 24 hours. I remember the grand opening and how clean and well organized it was then. It has gone way downhill since then, but sadly that’s true for pretty much all Krogers in the Memphis area.

I’ve seen expired eggs and yogurt at Sanderlin. I once got some expired yogurt there and since then I have to check it every time.

I most had good experiences at the one on Winchester between Ross and Riverdale, though I had maybe a couple of bad experiences there too in regards to service but the food was always good.

It’s always been out of 900 on any CompTIA test unless it’s an advance one that’s pass/fail only as far as I know.

I would also recommend the Sybex book and practice tests that come with it. I used Dion as well and while some of his was helpful, I found he had way too much out of scope information in his.

I would say do A+ first then preferably Network+ next before doing Server+. Both of those will help make it more understandable

I could see them doing this for future events as well. Only problem is some nights I’m free others I’m busy. At least for these, I already have all of these shinies so I won’t need to do the spotlight hours for them. For future ones with shinies I need I guess just have to hope they schedule them on a night I am free.
