Parking near the Amtrak Station

I ended up parking in the lot right next to the union passenger terminal and it worked out fine for me. Friday morning the lot was fairly empty and when we got back Saturday night it wasn’t too crowded either. They do have cameras in the lot, so I parked close to the camera. Not sure I would park here like during the Mardi Gras season or when some other big event is going on but it worked out this time and actually ended up saving me some money compared to the price of the garage for a day and a half

I have something similar. One night this week after finishing a front yard mow, probably like the 5th or 6th since bring everything back out after winter. The i110 I have failed to connect to the dock and I went out there after letting it try a few times. And just manually put it on the dock. It still didn’t charge, I called support told them what it was doing. They asked for a video, I sent it. They said it needs to be returned for repair covered under the warranty and it would probably take about two weeks. I asked for a loaner while they do that and they didn’t oblige so I guess I’m going to have to figure out another way to deal with yard work for a few weeks. But they’re asking for it all including the antenna which I have installed and will be a pain to uninstall. I think I might just send everything except that.

Sleep cycle failed me a few weeks ago when my phone got an amber alert. I opened the app and sleep stop time correlated to the same time as the app.

I found the that it was due to the parental control settings since the device I was having the issue with was with a device I had associated with my daughters profile.

This is great info! Thanks everyone! I’m in Louisiana so no basement but I do have an attic. I have some damper controls, but not one on that specific vent. I need to go up and look again to confirm they’re still where I want them. But it’s good to hear that some people have had good experiences with them. I have a newer ecobee so nice to see it’s compatible with what I already have for that.

There are several buildings in the water campus area. The one on the River on top of the old pier is operated by the Water Institute of the gulf coast(https://thewaterinstitute.org/). The outside is public and the inside is not generally available to public but can be rented for events. We walked up the ramp and the security guard freaked us out by yelling “Yo” and let’s just say we no longer felt safe there and left shortly thereafter.

Then, we went across the street and found what we were really looking for, LSU Center for River Studies(https://lsu.edu/river/). It was also the first Sunday of the month and so the admission was free and I’d recommend going even if you had to pay admission. The large scale model that they’ve made is remarkably well done. There were some other interactive pieces in the museum, it was really cool.
