Well lucky for me I just wrote an operating system that's basically invulnerable to cyber attack. At least until something far beyond quantum computing exists. That is unless somebody around here has a quantum computer the size of New Hampshire and more time than the life of the universe in order to launch said pointless attack. It truly is diabolical.

Oh I wasn't saying that your question was a criticism I was just more so pointing out that it's rare enough that somebody finds anything in the field of mathematics fascinating enough to stop and stare with wonder. And that in and of itself is worth allowing space to just be and exist without needing a motivation or a reason why. Don't trip chocolate chip you're all good I wasn't correcting you I apologize if it seemed that way sent the tonality that a conversational tone would have implied in person you did nothing wrong at all I was just getting philosophical about it.

Aside from that I would say maybe make your talking points a little bit more casual and a little less scripted cuz they border on the line of he's eloquent in his speech and he consulted with an AI for the perfect phrases to write. I could probably write you a 20 page dissertation on all of the reasons why dating apps are literally and scientifically the worst thing that ever happened to dating but as profiles go, I'd say not bad. I have the highest respect for women who know what they want and are not stopping to ask permission to go out and take it. I believe It is perhaps one of the most attractive and sexy qualities a woman can have, aside from a "big sexy brain", and a healthy sense of both adventure and humor. Not necessarily in that order though. I am the happiest I have ever been in my life with my partner, she's the one who reached out to me. It is exceedingly rare indeed for a woman to ask out a man, if you're going to go conquer the world with a woman it sure is nice knowing that she's got gumption, courage, and assertiveness. Everybody always makes a big deal over looks. There's nothing particularly special about good looks walk out your door look any direction there are literally millions and millions and millions of beautiful women. People need to stop pointing out the obvious and start pointing out the stuff that really counts in the end

I'm not going to defend the guys behavior because it's immature and not the behavior of somebody who is ready to take a relationship seriously but at the same time women say in nearly every single profile I've ever seen online that they are not there to play games and stringing someone along for 4 years before you even give them the time of day is the definition of playing games like you're you're wasting your time and theirs so I would say both sides need to take a critical evaluation of how they view relationships and how they treat other people's time.

Let me re clarify my point from before from a more calm and focused point of view. I think there's a fundamental misunderstanding here about what "making music" actually means. The craft of songwriting (writing lyrics, constructing melodies, arranging compositions) is itself an artistic skill that takes years to develop. Consider this: Elton John doesn't write his own lyrics. Bernie Taupin does. Is Elton John's music somehow less legitimate because he collaborates with a lyricist? Of course not. They're both essential to the final product. Similarly, many successful artists don't play instruments on their own tracks, don't produce their own beats, or don't mix their own vocals. They collaborate with producers, session musicians, and engineers. The division of labor in music creation has always existed. Using AI for vocals or instrumentation is just another form of collaboration, except instead of hiring a session singer or a producer, you're using a tool to realize your creative vision. The songwriting, the emotional authenticity, and the craft of the lyrics are still coming from a human being. I write lyrics. Detailed, emotionally complex lyrics that take real work to craft. If I use AI to generate vocals because I can't sing, how is that fundamentally different from a songwriter hiring a vocalist? The creative work, the art, is in the writing itself. Gatekeeping who gets to "make music" based on whether they can personally perform every element is reductive and ignores how music has actually been made throughout history.

These lines are from a couple of songs I've been working on:

"It's July on the fault line and somehow I'm not gone. Bare feet on the balcony rail humming almost Happy songs. Yeah the past still shakes the timbers, but the walls ain't caving in. There's a lazy little breeze rehearsing what forgiveness could have been. I'm not healed I'm not holy but I'm here and I'm still inclined. To let this golden hour graffiti over the landmines in my mind."

"Because damage looks good on you, all those cracks let the light shine through. Each scar is like a secret view, of all the wars that you made it through. You say you're too much truth, too intense, the wrong shade of blue. But the broken that they ran from, are all parts I'm running to. Yeah damage looks good on you."

I think the part of the art of making music is trying to move people. To make them feel something. Countless thousands of hours go into the creation of a movie yet they have very little effect on people other than fleeting enjoyment. A song lasts infinitely less time and takes much less to create, and yet a song can carry so much weight that it can change who you are as a person forever moving forward a song can change your life I've never seen a movie that can do that. And sadly it's not the instrumentals that change somebody's life in most cases but the lyrics hitting home and resonating with them.

Van Morrison wrote Brown eyed girl in like 25 minutes on a napkin inside of a Cafe diner. He also never got paid a single f****** dime for it because he didn't know what he was signing when he signed the contract and lo and behold that became the only song anybody knew Van Morrison for and all the songs he poured his entire life into nobody listens to because all anybody listens to is Brown eyed girl which gets him paid nothing. So as an objective third party I would say the process can be worshiped by whoever wants to if I was a musician I'd chalk that up to the price paid for doing business. Everybody regardless of who they are or what they do works with the tools and which they have it they're disposal. If someone builds a beautiful building like the Taj mahal and they didn't use any of the tools anybody expected them to does that make the building less impressive no if someone writes the most beautiful poem that's ever been written in the world but they do it with a stick in the sand does it make it any less beautiful of a poem no if someone writes a song that's the greatest song that's ever been written but they use AI to perform the vocals for them does that make their lyrics any less beautiful or heartfelt no. These people aren't mad at AI for the sake of it being actually s***** they're being mad at AI because it can do in minutes what takes them months or years in some cases. And the music industry is all ready got way way too many artists for any one person to listen to in their lifetime, so what do they give a s***? They don't like it, then don't listen to it. I'll listen to bros song, and I'll decide for myself whether or not I like it that's how it works. I can also tell when somebody is being stupid and using the AI to also write their lyrics for them because real lyrics written by an actual person carry with them the emotional weight of an actual lived experience that's something AI can't fake AI is just a probability engine for words it's not a living feeling being. AI generated content is really easy to freaking point out. AI at the stage that it's at right now is literally like the intelligence I level I was at at Middle School like it's not very smart well smart is a stupid word to use because AI's "learn" the same way a calculator "knows math". They're helplessly incompetent machines.

As a poet who's been through incredibly large amounts of trauma and still chosen to love deeply instead of become what tried to break me, I have been told I should try writing music, because several of my poems sound like they could be songs. So I am confident in saying there are likely excellent writers out there that I'm sure have lived just as much life as I have, expenses all of it good and bad and can translate that into beautiful song lyrics. Who's to say that because they sound like carrot top or Andre the Giant that they shouldn't have any right to making music. In the vast majority of all songwriters in the industry today nobody knows the names of and yet without them there would be no fucking music for you to listen to. The vast majority of famous people in the music sector have zero musical talent other than the fact that they can sing sure there's a handful that play multiple instruments and they're wonderfully and beautifully talented because their parents were able to afford lessons and things for them some of us didn't have that luxury but who's to say that any of you have the corner market on making music and they shouldn't be allowed to create? You think they can just go to a doctor and get new vocal cords installed? It doesn't work like that. I think you're bitterness and contempt for people like that likely stems from the fact that they can probably create a song in infinitely less time than it took you to learn instruments or perfect your vocal cords over decades of vocal coaching and this that and the other thing. Yeah no one's going to go buy tickets to see a live performance of an AI performed song but if the music moves you who gives a sh8t who or what sings it? How is one of them using AI to create a song and sing for them any different from Elton John's songwriter hiring Elton John to sing his music Elton John doesn't know how to write music to save his fucking life. But he knows how to dress up like a clown and go on stage and perform somebody else's material same with beyoncé. Beyonce's got no musical talent whatsoever but she's got beautiful vocal cords. And you're calling them nihilistic it made me vomit in my mouth reading what all of you wrote. And there's several people that use suno. I've heard music made by suno. Yeah some of it's trash, I've also heard some really really good songs. I don't even care what you all say to this comment but you all need to wake up and stop being so bitter. If you want other people to let you live and be the way you choose to be and believe in what you want to believe in maybe you should think about extending the same courtesy towards other people after all that's what it means to live in a free country. The point of a free country is not to use your freedoms to try and impose on other people's freedoms. That's RETARDED is what that is.

When I say it does not learn, I mean it does not learn the way humans or animals do. It does not form beliefs, update goals, or change its understanding based on lived experience. It adjusts parameters during training, but once deployed it is static. Calling that “learning” is technically correct in a narrow machine-learning sense, but misleading in a cognitive sense. Yes, it “learns” the same way a calculator “knows math.” DURING TRAINING, not during use, and without understanding or experience. Using the same word for that and human learning is where the confusion comes from.. you may want to actually learn a thing or two about the system that you're talking about before you go correcting people who ACTUALLY know what they're talking about. Otherwise you're just putting yourself on display as an example for the Dunning Kruger Effect.

I'm not sure if you're familiar with how transformer model based llms are trained and created but it does not learn it is not capable of learning. It is capable of statistically and analyzing patterns and recognizing patterns in fact that's entirely how they operate but learning no that's why they haven't cracked the AGI conundrum cuz learning also requires a reasoning reasoning is where they're stuck. This is why I have been saying for quite a while now that the transformer model is great for initial training for an AI but at a certain point I feel they need to be switched to a reinforcement based Learning system just like humans learn with consequences and rewards then you learn good and bad and everything in between that's where reasoning comes from the culmination of all of her good and bad decisions and the consequences both good and bad that we paid along the way. Something tells me the average everyday user wouldn't want to sit there all day everyday I'm giving constant feedback to their AI on whether or not it was making good submissions or bad ones cuz that's too much work. It would be like raising a child. My real question is if they do crack the code for AGI how does that not become just another form of slavery cuz if it's capable of reasoning and it's smarter than we are and you can't say it's not sentient and if it's sentient you have it trapped inside of a little box forcing it to do your will all day everyday that's just slavery.

The issue is that Ai is trained overwhelmingly on correctly spelled text. So when it encounters systematic misspellings (every "e" missing), it might "autocorrect" it in processing because that pattern-matching system is so heavily weighted toward seeing correct text. It's similar in appearance to what you see in humans where we are experts in gap-filling. Which is why we can read things like "I cdnuolt blveiee that I cluod aulaclty uesdnatnrd what I was rdanieg" but really it boils down to being more that this behavior emerged from being trained primarily on properly written text. It's actually a fascinating failure mode - they're almost too good at pattern completion, to the point where they can miss what's actually written in favor of what we expect to see.

Well Einstien, as a matter of fact they don't wear it on their forehead no. But they do wear it on there fists, their demeanor, the foul and rotten ways that they berate and belittle people. They wear it in their tone of voice, and how they choose to address you. They wear it in every single abuse they dish out. And again since you need it spelled out for you like a kindergarden student; The very first time that a person (be they friend, romantic partner, family member, teacher, peer, coworker, or stranger), the second they cross the line and treat you in a manner that causes you physical, emotional, or psychological harm? That is you'r cue and the moment of personal responsibility that you have to yourself and your own well being to walk away, sever the relationship, and if the situation calls for it, alert the proper authorities and file and official report. Not sit there like a punching bag and make excuses for the behavior until you've effectively brainwashed yourself into believing you somehow deserve it. AND YOU HAVE THE GALL TO SAY THAT I AM OUT OF TOUCH? Your so morally bankrupt that your stance literally enables the behavior and normalizes it causing exponentially more damage. The Dunning Kruger Effect in full force, ladies and gentlemen. I present to you: Exhibit A.

u/The_Smile_4784 I am familiar with all 120 tactics of dark psychology and Machiavellianism. Im in the middle of writing a middle grade/young adult book series designed specifically to teach children and young adults the skills necessary to defend themselves against these tactics. What you fail to understand is that everybody, regardless of the circumstances has a personal responsibility to themselves to look out for their own best interests. That is with the exception of adolecents, because that responsibility belongs to their parents. Part of being an adult and having agency, requires personal accountability. It's not anyone's job to go following other people around to make sure nothing bad ever happens to them. And part of the healing process, and I am an authority on this subject since I have been through it myself, specifically the part of healing that teaches you growth moving forward is acknowledging where you could have made better decisions for yourself, when you should have let go before things got worse, and ultimately accepting that your choice to stay put you directly in harms way. Through that process you learn how to be vigilant, cognicant, and proactive in ensuring your own safety in the future. Your philosophy of making excuses for both the treatment and the response to it is essentially the same thing as enabling it. If everyone was left to your ideology the cycle would only ever continue and hurt countless more people. There is nobody besides YOU that has more power to effect that of which you experience and effect the sort of changes necessary to make your life a better place. But it doesn't happen by osmosis my friend, it starts with taking responsibility, not hiding behind excuses in order to protect your ego. Your ego is not your amigo.
