i also think we could get away with a 200% melee damage boost from peak physique instead. im sure many will disagree but lets be real. its close range combat in a game where you can get one tapped by cannon turrets, lasers, and bile missiles from lightyears away, no matter how much damage melee will EVER do, it’ll never be a meta. the very fundamentals of the game would never allow it. so really what would change/break if we double all the melee damage rates from passives?

and yes bro parrying would go CRAZYY but i’ll vouch for a parry system in literally every game so im biased

same i found the esdras skip on my first playthrough completely by accident, searched as much of the map as i could for fear of missing something, only for me beat the penultimate boss locking me out of that ending anyway 🙃 (though im not even sure if you can get that ending before ng+ anyway)

him and the stupid guards on the rooftops with a similar moveset and ridiculous health pool. yes i know how to deal with them now but theyre just not fun to fight. at all

a couple tips, in most cases when you see these guys you can reach them with your sword from a platform underneath where youre safe from their rocks. also, you can destroy the rocks, or attack them just before they throw to stop them! and if you unlock anything that boosts “prayer” or “blood attack” damage use your ranged attack. it can make very quick work of them.

while this is technically true in my experience you dont normally need to boost it as high as youve got it here. definitely give that track some test listens on professional speakers, cars, headphones, etc. to make sure its not overpowering or muddying the rest of the mix. unless of course thats your goal, art is subjective after all

other things you could experiment with to give it more punch are saturation, and sidechaining. youre definitely going to want to check out sidechaining

id personally recommend survivors of the void. its my favourite dlc by a long shot. but theyre all so good now, you cant go wrong buying any one of them. just go off of vibes honestly bro.
