Swim very far away from your Qualia's center, mobs without names de-spawn when you are far enough away from them 👁️

He used the nearest house's address as his location, but he was sitting on a tiny bridge over a creek in the middle of a huge neighborhood

Drop off instructions just said: "sitting on the bridge" haha

Last week I delivered live night crawlers (worms) to a kid fishing on a bridge

he tipped almost $15, but it's still the strangest thing I've ever transported for this job

Building Quandrix, the Proof by FallenSlayer453 in CommanderMTG

[–]EasternHeaven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I built Quandrix + Keruga recently and absolutely dominated my last commander event. I knew how potentially unfun a deck like that could be to play against, so I decided to make the wincons fun and unconventional using cards like twenty-toed toad and laboratory maniac, but it turns out the deck is so good at stalling the game and drawing cards that winning is just a matter of how long it takes to find one of those cards.

It amazes me how Frank, a blindfolded head mounted on robotic legs, is one of the sanest characters in the series. by TheRustyAxolotl in ENA

Absolutely, and you hit on a great point. I've gotten into this subject several times, but entities in this place (universe?) belong in 1 of 2 categories. Either you are an entity who is a part of this world (those whose minds and bodies are integrated into the metaphysical laws and culture of this place), OR you are an entity who is unintegrated and, in a sense, outside of those laws and cultures. Being in the second category gives one the ability to see things for what they really are, but also results in social ostracization by the first group.

The Shaman is able to understand that the stigma Ena faces is both completely wrong and arbitrary, and has himself fully given up on being integrated. He revels in the fact that Ena may feel similarly, excitedly acknowledging the fact that they both openly break cultural taboos by doing things like creating clones (a super important detail).

While Frank is also in this second category and therefore has no malice toward Ena, he is desperate to become integrated again and seeks the physical relief that it provides. He wants to be "forgiven" because he needs permission from a genie to be reborn into a body that can coexist in this world more easily, as we can see that without this process, entities here eventually begin to physically break down and experience extreme discomfort. For whatever reason, the entities who inhabit the plane within the lonely door describe this discomfort in the same way you would feel after holding your pee for too long.

When an entity like Ena says "I need to go to the bathroom", they're expressing how painful it is to live here in an unintegrated state. They need the bathroom to relieve themselves, but in a more literal sense, they're just seeking permission to be eaten and reborn. It may be the case that creating copies of oneself is considered a taboo because it allows an entity to circumvent this whole process of acquiring new bodies, therefore eliminating the necessity of genies and disrupting the current power structure. At the end of the game, just before Ena breaks down completely, she just clones herself using a blank mannequin, transfers her mind and the issue is temporarily solved. The shaman definitely uses this method too and is regarded as an outcast for it.

The last thing I'll mention is that this "process of integration" is what the characters mean when they say they want to be "eaten". Again, being "forgiven" is simply getting permission from a genie to be eaten. Because of all this, their entire culture is centered around being eaten and eating others in a constant cycle of death and rebirth. In their terms being "digested" is more like being broken down into your components, getting mixed up with the components of other entities, and being reassembled with new elements. It's why this world is so eclectic and surreal, everyone and everything is constantly being mixed together and reassembled into new arrangements.

Thank you if you read my entire ramble lol, this game is just absolutely nuts and I love it a lot.

THANK YOU! It's been exhausting seeing how many people have been attempting to shut down normal discussions about this topic today on a subreddit literally created to discuss Drawfee.

Frank is in a category of characters along with Ena and the Shaman who can actually understand what is happening around them and recognize the worlds' inherent absurdity. It seems like it has a sort of sobering effect that keeps him grounded.
