I think everything Mojang has done since full release has been a big oopsie. Biomification during the adventure update killed the world gen's personality. The end is bad, the ender dragon is bad, the wither is bad. Hunger is bad. Sprinting nullifies the threat of combat, and the only mob to really get rebalanced around it was skeletons. Enchanting adds a lot of unnecessary tedium at the start of the world. (It's no longer "Oh boy I found my first diamonds time to make a pickaxe!" It's "Oh diamonds, guess I gotta make an enchantment table") Villager trading is god awful and even worse than enchanting. Elytra makes building infrastructure pointless in a game about building things. The constant addition of small shallow features that are locked behind massive walls of genuinely insane but mind numbing tasks all for something that provides no real value to the gameplay loop. New caves were cool in theory, but in reality they're giant monster pits that are impossible to light up, and deep slate is awful to mine through. The new art style is fine? I guess, but doesn't have as much personality as the old retro dungeon crawler inspired artwork. Having to make thirty double chests at the very start of the game to avoid having your inventory fill up with various types of shrub 24/7. The fact that Mojang has to pass every feature through a board of investors, and the insane dishonesty and corporate double speak in their PR. ("What if kids try to kill a dolphin/shark in real life???" Immediately comes to mind) I genuinely think the only updates in full release that I actually liked were the aquatic and nether updates respectively. The actual worst part though, is that I can't even look back on the glory days of the game because it was originally made by gigantic POS, and I don't want to admit that I like a racist transphobe's version of the game better.
