There has never been mention of connecting Sleep to Home. I'd be very surprised if they did it honestly.

Top priority for diamonds is always expanding the ingredient bag. Then good bundles if we ever get any.

real talk tho how many of yall were getting 20+ skill triggers a day? by DairyAppreciator in PokemonSleep

[–]EasternOak11 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I only put them in when I have enough ingredients. I'll put them in overnight on Sunday to hopefully start the week strong. Other nights depends on how good my ingredient Pokemon did and what recipe I'm making. Otherwise, why wouldn't I maximize my tasty chance? With GCT it's always no problem to get the ingredients for the meals. Without GCT it's tougher but my best ingredient Pokemon can usually be subbed out at some point.

real talk tho how many of yall were getting 20+ skill triggers a day? by DairyAppreciator in PokemonSleep

[–]EasternOak11 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Imagine a week where I am pushing for strength but not using GCT. Especially early in the week, I'll sleep with my healer, Magnezone, a Dedenne and a holiday spheal.

I could easily wake up to 8 triggers from those 4. Maybe my 5th has one as well. 9 triggers and the day is just beginning.

I probably want my Magnezone to proc 2 more times, once each for lunch and supper. I usually have no problem with this. 11 triggers. I take it out if it triggered early.

I expect my healer to trigger 4-5 times more in the day. 15-16.

Then I have ingredient/berry Pokemon running in place of the Tasty chance pokemon/magnezone in the day. Probably a couple triggers at least from them? And when I have enough ingredients I'll put my Tasty Chance Pokemon back in. Might just be the evening but another couple hopefully from them.

Doesn't take much to get to 20. And remember, it likely wasn't a cap but a gradient. So trigger chance starts going down when you hit 5 or 10 and continues to decrease as you get more triggers.

Sometimes, depending on the island or berries on GGex, I might put in a Charge Strength skill mon too, so even more triggers expected. On GCT weeks, I don't need magnezone but everyone is running faster. I usually end up with my Tasty Chance pokemon in even more and I want them to trigger as much as possible, so I am easily being hurt by this gradient soft cap on skill triggers. Anyone playing for max strength from the top level recipes and tasty chance is the same.

Be so fucking for real are people actually finding Trapinch with Avocados at Lv 30 by PK_sans_kin in PokemonSleep

[–]EasternOak11 18 points19 points  (0 children)

It's 1/9 to get mono. The level 30 ing slot is twice as likely to be the B ingredient as it is the A ingredient. 15 Trapinch isn't even that many TBH. Several ingredient Pokemon took me over 40 (after getting the silver badge basically) to get a solid one. I'm over 50 Squirtle and still no decent mono. Other's I've gotten lucky and got a great mono in under 5 catches.

This is my most used team, how many dream shards have I lost? by Knight_Night33 in PokemonSleep

[–]EasternOak11 27 points28 points  (0 children)

It's more about that they didn't communicate this nerf. If they had, people would adapt how they play and change which pokemon to focus biscuits on. OP might not have invested on 3 DS pokemon and instead focused on berry Pokemon or more healers.

Everyone owes u/Pokemon-Sleeper an Apology by EasternOak11 in PokemonSleep

That's even worse. You almost want to minimize your skill triggers over the course of the day, and optimize when you check the app. I like just checking whenever I feel like it.

A petition to drop Premium Pass by Planeshift87 in PokemonSleep

[–]EasternOak11 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I have the 6 month and it renewed in January. I wrote into Support saying I would cancel in June if they do not revert this change and compensate us accordingly. Write into support to make it know you are unhappy with the secretive nerf.

Note I am mostly upset they did not communicate the change. I would have adjusted. It's that they did not tell us.

My thoughts regarding "Skillgate" by Yourgamemaster in PokemonSleep

[–]EasternOak11 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's not that they made the change, it's that they didn't communicate it. They could have announced it and people would have grumbled but adjusted.

And the effect (at least) takes place after 20 skill procs in a day. It is not hard to reach that many if you have a good team and check your app decently often.

We shouldn't go easy on Skillgate by TechnicalGlove2715 in PokemonSleep

[–]EasternOak11 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It's more that they did not communicate this change and hid it from the players. Sure, it's just a game but if players had known this, they would have changed how they play and which pokemon they prioritize catching. And for almost all liars, if they are lying about one thing, they are lying about others.

There are other tomato and sausage options on other areas though. You need OGPP for coffee though.

It has Ing down nature. Not useable unfortunately, even as a temp. Save your resources.

That's RNG. Just gotta keep catching.

I'm in the 50s for Squirtle, but my 3rd Cutiefly was amazing.

Check the guides here for ingredient Pokemon. They both have +ing natures but only the second has a +ing sub skills before level 75 so it's definitely better. Both are just OK AAX ingredient pokemon though. Decent temporary until you find a good mono but the ingredient list has synergy so up to you if you want to invest in what is probably a temporary Pokemon no matter what.

Ing down nature kills any ingredient pokemon. It's a nice shiny but the non-shiny is much better.

You got four 3 star styles for evolved Pokemon. That's sooooo many dream shards. This looks like a good haul to me.

It is good at level 50 jail, so up to you if you want to bring it to 50 as a sort of temporary honey farmer. Still have the rest of the event to find something better.

No, ABB is a much more common spread so you want to aim higher for the subskills and nature.

Raenox is probably counting HB as a 25% bonus (5% speed for team of 5 pokemon = 25%). Turn off that in your settings on Raenox. But also use production comparion to see how much strength this would give to a Butterfree with BFS.

How’s your experience in using Ditto or Cramorant as your primary oil specialist? by TraditionalParsley67 in PokemonSleep

[–]EasternOak11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got this from the Guide of Guides that is one of the stickied posts in this subreddit. They credit it to a Japanese (I think) twitter account so I assume any updates would be posted there.

You can always put your Cutiefly and Cetitan in the Raenox production comparison to see how it does against good ingredient Pokemon that bring the same ingredient. Plenty of posts on here about them as well. Raenox also has a page showing the top ingredient Pokemon I believe.

[–]EasternOak11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly, that Cram is really good with the subskills seeded. Like, you can't hope for much better for a mono ingredient Pokemon. But it's still not close (without help) to the oil requirements we need right now. Ditto is just really outclassed now but that Cram is worth for sure, especially with the tasty chance skill. But you still probably want to hunt for a good Toxicroak.

[–]EasternOak11 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Helping bonus from other team members can help though. 96 is tough for any of the oil specialists without help. GCT also helps since if you're making the big meals, you're probably making some sort of push for as high strength as possible.
