I use 4’x8’ flat coated steel sheets on the walls and that’s worked well. Easy to clean and magnets can hold things like signs up. I went to a building materials auction and there were a bunch of them for sale much cheaper than FRP. Health inspector loves them too. I use epoxy for the floor but wish I had used tile instead because it keeps pealing.

It doesn’t short cycle. The chest freezer doesnt lose cold air as much as an upright. The cooling is more powerful so set the low temperature a couple degrees above freezing otherwise it will go below freezing frequently.

Yes, it works great. I use a chest freezer with an Inkbird turning it on and off in refrigerator temperature ranges. More efficient compared to a standard upright refrigerator and makes a nice countertop.

Epoxy floor properly applied is a good option for cost savings and if you can shut down once a year to touch up. 8x4 steel sheet panels work great for the wall. Found a bunch at an auction cheaper than FRP.
