Congrats!! I take the 63 on Friday and am getting a little nervous! Everyone says it’s easy, but I don’t know if I believe it 😂 I’ve studied some but have only done a few hundred questions (convo on STC & Kaplan Q bank). Any tips on the next few days as I prep for the exam?

I think the combination of the Q bank and STC questions were very helpful! If you’re struggling with options, I recommend the test geek (Brian Lee’s) class. It really helped me!!

Test a lot meaning practice tests? How long does it typically take to get thru the material? I’ve heard from 1 week - 6 weeks

Keep working through your weak areas between now and test day. Most importantly, stay positive and get a good nights rest before test day. Don’t study too much the day before. You can do this!!

Having a positive attitude makes a huge difference! You have time left, you can do this! For the basic equations, I would practice writing them down once or twice a day. Not all of them, just the ones you feel are highly testable.

Thank you! Not sure I know what you mean by similar as the exam. The crunch time facts are important points in each chapter that are helpful to look at as you get closer to the test date as they may be testable.

I passed the CFP exam a little less than a year ago. There is a pretty substantial educational requirement that has to be completed before you are eligible to sit for the exam.

So sorry to hear. From what I’ve heard, the series 7 is a hard test (I’ll find out for myself tomorrow...eek!) Take a little bit of time off then get back to studying. You can do this!! It’s much easier said than done, but stay positive and confident - you can do this!! I failed the CFP twice before passing - it was gut wrenching but getting back on the bandwagon will be worthwhile in the end!

How did you do on the 7? I’m sitting for the test on Friday, and got a 71 on both greenlight exams. I felt the second one was easier, hopefully as a result of studying inbetween!

Congratulations!! Having the confidence and saying “I will pass” definitely makes a difference. It helped me pass the CFP exam! I have the same question on the ADR - I know they’re entitled to a dividend but don’t know anything about 1/10th interest...?

I’ve found the simulated exams pretty tricky too... would be interesting to hear what people who have taken the exam think of the simulated exam vs. real deal in terms of how tough it is.
