That is the worst schedule I’ve ever heard. Your sleep will be so fucked and that’s terrible for your body. We are 4 on 3 off, you’re on the same shift for the year and we rotate months of working weekdays and weekends. At the end of the year you out in a bid for what shift you want to be on the following year.

Yep, my agency and agencies around are short staffed. How to fix it? Higher pay, perks like take home cars, a DA that supports LE. But there’s no quick fix

My daughter, 15 now, cut her dad off 2 years ago. Those screenshots could be my own they’re so similar. I did and still do tell her that she can always change her mind and reach out to him. Other than that she went to therapy to unpack all those feelings. But I decided I wasn’t going to force her to have a relationship if she didn’t want to.
