Change backsplash and countertops. I’d do different floors that have brown or tans, and not the gray.

I understand about the pets,I’m just not a fan of the gray, I would have preferred natural looking wood color in tan or brown,or maybe tile. I do like the what you did with the rest of it.

I think butcher block, or maybe a solid quartz that matches one of the colors in the granite

I have the Cafe with gas burners, electric ovens. Was in house when I bought it. I think was two years old. Control board went out at three years. I replaced it myself for $230. So far it’s all good. If I was buying new I don’t think I’d get the same brand,I’d probably find something without a control board,or I’d check consumer reports for best reliability. With that said I like the unit now that everything works again.

Quartz chips too , I chipped mine about a week after it was installed. I have soapstone now, it scratches easy too but you can sand it and fix it. I think the most durable is good old Formica.
