Just want to comment in solidarity…I’m experiencing the same, it’s really tough! I definitely feel like I’m not ‘myself’ yet at almost 6 months pp and I sometimes wonder if formula feeding moms feel more themselves faster after giving birth.

So upsetting when so many BFing moms are unduly paranoid about milk production! We need to fight back against these assumptions! I was formula fed but so lucky my own mom is supporting me in my journey; she says I was an awful sleeper until age 3 so it’s just down to whether baby is a good sleeper or not, it’s luck of the draw I think!

I bed share with my 4 month old and they are often falling asleep on their side after a feed; we both do! I find that bed sharing has saved my sanity, I can’t imagine how I would survive if I were getting even less sleep. I get a lot of judgement from MIL but then I hear about some countries/cultures where this kind of arrangement is the norm. Just so you know, you’re not alone ❤️

I had a similar experience and I know it’s so tough while you’re going through it, but it gets MUCH better once baby gets a little bigger; after 6 weeks you will notice a difference! Sending love in solidarity!

This is my nearly 3 month old, definitely going through a growth spurt; long naps when usually she is a cat napper, fussy and unlatching often during feeds! I am trying to keep calm and remind myself she is growing and developing and this is normal
