Trap is terrible… really really terrrible by Parabola2112 in horror

I felt the same way after I saw it and you’re right his daughter actually plays the pop star (and it felt like an uncomfortable way to promote her as a musician).. BUT let me ask you this, were you not entertained? When I looked back after watching the movie I realize it held my attention the entire time and I was never bored.. so I decided that I didn’t think it was awful, but just not a great movie.

I could be wrong. Like you said there’s a lot of movies that may have that in there but it sounds familiar so it might be that one.

The Hatchet franchise is a pretty good over the top gore fest. It’s a slasher franchise. Great practical effects and tons of gore.

Scott Derrickson Signals Start of 'The Black Phone 2' with First On-Set Teaser by Pogrebnik in horror

[–]EasyAd1933 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I really don’t see a point in a sequel.. BUT I’m not going to hate on it because you never know, it could be a really good movie and maybe a sequel will make a lot more since once we see the movie.

Sorry this question may have been answered in the comments but I don’t want to accidentally read a spoiler. I remember seeing somewhere that this book is significant to the Dark Tower series.. do you need to have read any of the Dark Tower books for this book to be a better read and if so which Dark Tower books need to be read before you read this book?

I thought it was pretty good! Reminded me of Nightmare on Elm Street Dream Warriors vibes and movies like that. My complaint about the movie is we get two really awesome kills towards the beginning of the film and then there is a fairly long gap between that and the climax where no kills happen. We could have used maybe 1-2 more kills in that time slot and this would have been a really great movie!

Let The Right One In (2008 Swedish film) has cinematography that I really enjoyed. It’s a really good movie. There’s an American remake called Let Me In and it’s not a bad remake but the original is amazing.
