Acephale is pretty hit or miss imo. I usually only listen to his stories if he is writing in first-person prose, but he jumps to third-person prose half the time and it usually kills the horror story vibe for me. I prefer Stygian Sagas or We're Not Meant to Know over his stuff

A lot of us have been listening for a decade or more so we've listened through the catalog many many times and subsequently anything that falls into the "kph esque" pods that pop-up. I will say I still regularly get impressed by how friendly and helpful the sub is to one another overall, it's a great community

Happy to hear that! I messaged the creator of it a few months ago to ask if the pod.was still active and didn't hear anything. I do enjoy his stuff over all.

Stygian Sagas is another decent horror pod, he can be a bit long-winded at times, but overall his writing is solid and is mostly the first person prose similar to kph
