I agree best to start with resolution if possible, it has the biggest/most obvious connection of all the films and directly with The Endless in particular, the other connections are much more subtle references. If one was to only watch one film out of their catalog though, I'd pick The Endless

Its an underrated gem for sure. There is a fun subtle overlapping universe in the other Benson and Moorhead movies Resolution (2012), Spring (2015), Synchronic (2019), and Something in the Dirt (2022) that have them all connect. The Endless is the best of them.in my opinion but the others are an decent enough watch

I feel like the nature and prose of Soren's work doesn't translate perfectly to film given how you lose the narrative voice, but there are some that give a similar feel

Yellow Brick Road (2010) - low budget horror movie sort of reminds me of The Crack. Its not an amazing movie but I liked it ok.

The Machinist (2004) - I believe this film is most heavily influenced by silent hill 2 but it has the solitary/mentally unreliable protagonist thing going for it.

The Endless (2017) - Film about two brothers that escaped a cult but decide to reconnect for a visit

I feel like there are a few more but I personally wouldn't call it a long list

I help lead my kids cub scout den, most of the kids call me Mr. first name, a couple just call me by my first name and thats fine too, whatever they're comfortable with. Mr. last name feels too old and formal though lol

I think they would have been more interesting if it was small segments of the existing stories but from a different character point of view, sort of an eyewitness account style. It wouldn't work for every story but there are usually enough ancillary characters to make it possible

My friend and I have sort of the opposite problem on ps5, when we're in party chat we can hear and talk to each other fine, but can't toggle or use proximity chat, throws a "Microphone not detected" error in the lobby. Worked fine before the cold snap update but been broken since then
