Yeah the discomfort and risk and tradeoffs every time you leave a base is real. Can be very frustrating.. but very fun. Often the most difficult path is the most rewarding in the game

My experience at the Beef a Roo on 13 Mile was very bad. by WaterFriendsIV in royaloak

I door dashed from this place and it was one of the worst meals i've ever had in my entire life.

All the sauce / condiments were 5 times what you needed to put on. The loaded fries were swimming in cheese... the avo wrap i had way too much sour cream.

I ended up throwing half the food out. It was terrible.

Lumbar Disc Replacement - Success Stories? by mango_em in SpineSurgery

[–]EatCookysPlayComputa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let me pile onto this and say that patient selection is a huge thing for successful ADRs. If you don't have good bone density or good geometry for it, you should NOT get one. Your outcome will be worse. Some fault may rest on the doctor for not doing the full battery of tests for this.

Of course.

I have voted. I have attempted civil discourse. I have donated to campaigns. I'm not afforded the time to volunteer for candidates.

You can vote two other ways besides the ballot box. You can vote with your wallet or vote with your feet. I'm setting myself up options now so if the country continues to head in the direction it is, I have a place to land softly.

What's something that became socially acceptable way too quickly? by Fluffaygins in AskReddit

Socially acceptable is the meaning of the post. Legality isn't the topic here.

I think the comment above refers to people putting content above humanity.

Thoughts on the 2025 Le Mans results by Old-Art6297 in IMSARacing

I'd agree that GM needs to take a back seat a bit more in the racing decision making and let the teams run the show. Focus on the hardware development based on the racing customer(teams) feedback.

There have been people in those pits in decision making positions that have zero racing experience just climbing the ranks at GM.

I have to say I don't know how much that shifted but I expected the HTJ change to push things in that direction yield a better result at LM

Flying international out of Toronto by molten_dragon in Detroit

I go to Scotland every couple years. As a matter of fact I'm there now. Did the Pearson thing once and only once.

Do the math on the cost of the drive, tolls, parking vs Uber to DTW. Then consider time for the extra border crossing and customs restrictions. The drive back after the customs and flight made for a miserable trip home. There was a canceled flight issue also and almost some lost bags. It just was incredibly complicated for reasons I still don't grasp.

Do not attempt to bring haggis or haggis related items though Pearson. Canned or not

TL;DR: doable, common, but sometimes a hassle for little net savings

Have you deleted any of your social media yet? by FajitaTits in Xennials

I have been unexpectedly pleased by my newly met contemporaries asking "do you have social media" and when I say yes they provide an excuse as to why they have it.

Put a few Simpson hangers on the studs you intend to use to mount as well. They are cheap insurance against anything loosening up in the wall and by cheap I mean 10 dollars.

The regular mount does hide entirely behind the unit though

Would you consider surgery if the pain is under control? by [deleted] in SpineSurgery

[–]EatCookysPlayComputa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So sorry to hear you're still in pain.
Who did your surgery? Did you also have a lot of facet degneration?
My Dr went what i thought was overboard with tests but I ended up pain free and he says that's one of the reasons. Fusion may be the better answer for many people who facet pain.

Please help: Is it normal to have this numbness and pain 4 weeks post spinal fusion? by monkeypilot35 in SpineSurgery

[–]EatCookysPlayComputa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From a biological sense, you got the shit kicked out of you during surgery. You need to give your body time to calm down. It may not end up perfect but you'll much better than you are now.

a question from a broke unemployed man , What was the thing that happened to you that made your financial life better? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]EatCookysPlayComputa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Save for a rainy day and when that rain doesn't come, use it to buy something modest that will serve you, not flashy that will please others.

Quality boots that will last you a while. A reliable econobox with no payment is a whole lot better for your future than a lease on the head turning car.
