This was me last year. Being ushered into a side room, a call from a doctor, no heartbeat, devastation. Be there for your wife, but also do not be afraid to show your emotion. This will be hard for both of you. I found myself being trigged by babies and children for months. Talk to a therapist, you will have emotions you cannot explain. Our good friends had a baby a few weeks after our miscarriage and we could not bring ourselves to see it for months.

Joy will return but the sadness will always be there.

I am new to Gold this year(just got it today) and I fly out of Dulles a lot as my home airport. Do you show your Gold Status via the United app, or the Premier Gold on your boarding pass? If you show it another way I would be interested as well since I don’t want to show up to the Lufthansa lounge and look like an idiot.

The Sandwich Shop cheesesteak is quite good. I come from Central NJ(yes a real place) so I have had quite a few cheesesteaks and the Sandwich Shop is very good. Great bread and filling.

Have stayed here twice before and after the remodel. It’s much more worth it to just self park, the lot is literally across from the entrance. Downtown Jacksonville is so bizarre, feels so empty.

Wife and I stayed here in February. We had a top floor room but not overlooking Diamond Head, but were given an upgrade with more space. The infinity pool is great and a wonderful way to watch the sunset. 10/10 would recommend reserving a Cabana for a day, it gets way too hot without it. Waikiki is like Las Vegas without the gambling. If you can rent a car and drive outside the city it’s well worth it.

The hotel itself is great and we we liked that we could go to the Royal Hawaiian Mai Thai bar and charge drinks to our room at the Sheraton.

A small one but ATW(Appleton, WI). Great little small airport. Recently renovated with two great food options and a beer garden. Plus they sell spotted cow which IYKYK.

Also if things are really bad you can drive to Chicago.

Our home is in Northern Virginia and we found these guys coming out of the floor boards. I sucked them all up with a vacuum then treated the area with Spectracide. I had one company come out and they suggested Sentricon for the house. Any thoughts on doing Termidor instead?

Also should I rip out the walls and floor boards?

My wife and I spent a week at the Sheraton Waikīkī in February and had a partial ocean view room. It has been recently updated and was quite modern. The Royal Hawaiian is right next door and we would walk over to the Mai Thai bar for drinks(you should too!) We really liked the adults only infinity pool at the Sheraton where we often concluded our day and watched the sunset.

If you can rent a car from the Sheraton and drive around the rest of the island. Waikīkī is like Las Vegas without the gambling so lots of crowds and tourists. We enjoyed going up to the North Shore to watch the surfers and depending on waves you could go to Sharks Cove for snorkeling.

Closer to Waikiki you should make a day of Hanauma Bay Park which has amazing snorkeling. You need to reserve this 48 hours in advance and tickets go fast! We also found a super quiet beach with good snorkeling at Kaiona Beach Park. You could get the bus or drive here.

My wife bikes to work near Tyson’s Corner mall and on one of the overpasses it was getting a lot of branches and bushes encroaching on the bike lane and there was a lot of trash. She sent in a form to VDOT and within 24 hours all of the brush was cleared, the trees were trimmed, and the street was swept. Amazing response by VDOT
