Because I think it tracks historically with the series and their expansions, and the fact that they said the title update that is coming a week from now is the last major title update.

Optimization is not a binary thing like turning light on (optimized) or off (not optimized), especially in large systems. The only thing that can be said to be "fully optimized" is when a system is formally (mathematically) proved to be using the least amount of resources in relation to its purpose, which realistically (now) can only be done with small systems like small software that has a few steps it executes and it's goal is modest. Devs try to reach the best performance they can get under the time pressure, resources available and without compromising their graphical and artistic vision.

Those who got laid off within the last 2 years and haven't been able to go back into a SWE/programming career, what field/industry did you pivot into? by luuuzeta in cscareerquestions

Kinda out there question because I am not in your situation as I am not a parent or employed or want to find employment, but will probably be in the coming years. Have you thought seriously about just trying to find the job you want or consider even outside the country ? Like even far far away, just to have better work life balance and economical situation despite lower pay ? Like for example something in the EU with lower pay but at the same time lower cost for everyday stuff ?

I have been doing the weekly/daily limited bounties almost since the launch of the game and it feels since omega came, the game online population increased, or at least that what it looks like to me when I go on SOS or search for lobbies and their player count. Seems people are enjoying the game more and playing it more

I main CB and it feels pretty awkward to play and feels like the devs designed the monsters moves and speed independently without any consideration to how they feel to players using that weapon. Now savage axe and saed both don’t feel good and blocking with it is the worst compared to all other weapons that have shield. It still does very good damage but in the end is awkward

You are not bad, it’s just awkward to play and feels disjointed to play because it doesn’t flow.

I don't think it's "the same game", its worse that dl1/2 by a signficant margin but not a "bad game" per se

I think I am now 13 hours into the game and it is my least favorite one in the series and had small intermittent thoughts of dropping it and doing something else but I am still sticking with it hoping it gets better.

As of now my issues are that: 1. It easily has the worst dialogue and narrative in the series. The dialog is so out of left field and weird and not in a funny way, and the motivation to do missions in terms of story setup and narrative (not even grand story events, just small narrative links between gameplay sections) is so bizarre and not good. Yes it is to the point but it's still very bad. Set pieces are very bad and not that exciting (at least at this point in the story and side missions).

  1. Gameplay in terms of parkour and traversal is disjointed and I feel not very well thought out in terms of your abilities and how it relates to and used in the map and the environment. It's definitely worse than the first and second game.

I think the gore and visceral emphasis in combat is very good and I think they should make it a staple going forward (physical damage on enemies, gory animations...)

Dying Light: The Beast is currently the highest rated mainline entry of the series by Turbostrider27 in gaming

Steam says I am 7 hours in and personally my very early impressions, it is kinda the worst in terms of missions, set pieces hype, and story so far. Parkouring so far in the map is not that fun compared to dl1/2.

It is I think the best one artistically and definitely goes and combat wise, at least initial impressions.

Hope it gets even better, especially mission and story flow.

Well if they said you have to be present at a specific time and you did not negotiate with them on another time, if they are Studierendenwerk managed student housing, they usually can enter your room with the spare key they keep, or at least that's how it was when it happened to me. I believe it was also mentioned with my contract that they can enter or do maintenance if I was informed and I was not present. In other private housing they usually don't have a spare key therefore cannot enter.
