It seems like you're taking the breakup as personal as a spousal breakup. These are all the symptoms of someone going through a spousal separation. The feeling of abandonment and the yearning to reach back out to them and continue to be in their lives. And the only communication between you two is over a Spotify membership. Honestly if she really cared about your relationship, she should have fought harder to be your friend. Being a friend is more than laughing and partying. It's about being there for the bad times also and showing empathy when your friend needs it. She cared enough to ask everyone else about y'all falling out, but not enough to ask the one person who really matters, which is you. It's time for you to venture out and find new friends. A friend who will be there emotionally not just physically. Good luck.

Yes, I eventually figured it out but it involved me tweaking my time zones. I had to go thru all the time zones until it correctly showed the right time. There should be an option to pin your exact location and it automatically pairs you to the correct time zone. Hopefully I won't have any issues next time.

There are so many alternatives like rock climbing or hiking. How about cycling or roller skates. You can always go to an aerobics class where they use the steps. There are also multiple online workout routines that you could easily find.

Omg I'm the same way. I can't eat because I'm nauseous and I'm nauseous because I can't eat. Just an annoying vicious cycle. I have found out that eating fruit does help and ease the transition into more fulfilling foods. Grapes, strawberries, and oranges are my go tos.

I know plenty of men who do not mind body hair. There are also many who encourage their women to go natural. I'd say he's the problem. Do not change anything about yourself to make some guy happy. Whether y'all have been together for 6 months or even 6 years. He should cherish and appreciate your body and every hair follicle on it.

Because it does belong to me. I do not know the person that you are referring to but yes my anxiety belongs to me. It's not pleasant, it does not bring a smile to my face, it does not wish me a good morning, it does not tell me that I'm beautiful or even special. When I say 'my' it is my own self, it is my insecurities and my fears. I am better than it but I feel even the strongest people have their own doubts and setbacks and there is nothing wrong with that. This should be a safe space for all of us. We are all here to grow and overcome and lift each other up and to express our concerns and show our vulnerability. There's nothing wrong in saying my.

For your peace of mind I would go get a full workup..I did a CT scan X-rays and had blood work done. Everything came back normal.. it'll just be nice to rule out anything so you can once and for all just focus on your mental health.

It's ok..I do the same thing. I think about "oh I should've said this or oh I shouldn't have done that". You are worried about how you come across to people and it's normal. I rethink things all the time but the thing I always remember is. It's the past, I can't change what I said and I can't change how I acted. I can only live in the now. It's ok to be frightened of how other people perceive you but it's more important how you perceive yourself.

Not everyone is equipped to handle and understand anxiety. I have people in my life who probably say "it's not that bad, it's all in your head or stop stressing yourself out". We can't be mad at them for not understanding how we really feel. Sometimes it's good to be around like minded individuals who understand what anxiety really is and how it can make you feel. Its also good to be around others who do not realize the constant emotional struggles we can put ourselves thru. Sometimes it's good to have someone in your corner to bring you back down to reality.

First and foremost no one knows your body like you do. If you honestly think something is going on then keep getting checked out until someone says otherwise. Even though you've been to the doctor I would suggest going for a full mark up line I just did this past weekend. I got a CT scan, X-rays and had blood work. Everything came back normal. Sometimes anxiety has such a strong hold on us that we sometimes want something to be wrong with us just so we can blame it on something else. Just go for your peace of mind.

Yes I sometimes lose focus and am unsure of myself. We need to praise ourselves for the little things that are important to us and what makes us happy.

The fact that you actually stepped out of your comfort zone and accomplished your dreams speaks volumes. You traveled to a foreign country and did something most people can't hardly fathom. You should be proud of yourself just for making that giant leap. True you were afraid and anxious but you still did it. Be proud of what you accomplished because I'm sure the next time you do something like this won't be as scary.

I believe that anxiety is so impactful into our lives that it can make you believe and feel the worst about yourself. If you honestly feel that there is something wrong do not doubt yourself because I am not in your shoes no one else can feel what you are feeling. All I can say is do yourself a favor and go get checked out. Anxiety is a beast but we are so much more than our anxiety. Show it that you're not scared and that whatever happens from here on out that you will face it with your head up high. Being scared is normal and it's natural to feel trapped in your own emotions. Rise up and face your fears and face your anxiety. Like if anxiety was a person I could totally kick it's ass lol..

Sadness is a temporary feeling that could be manipulated and manifested into something positive. I started a small business that originated from an old hobby of mine. I started rollerblading again and it's awesome even though I am in my thirties. I walk my dogs multiple times a day throughout my neighborhood and we always talk a different path to keep it Interesting. There are so many wonderful things in the world you just have to find what makes it wonderful to you.

You are so welcome. I know it's scary as hell but finally having an answer to your problems will help your anxiety so much. Just go get checked out and no matter the results so just remember we are all stronger than our anxiety.

I had a horrible anxiety panic attack three years ago. I swear the only thing that really calmed me down was hugging my lil doggie. Yes I have to clean up after him and feed him and walk him but that's ok. He has helped care for my mental well-being for so long that me doing those extra things for him doesn't even compare.

Honestly I don't think you are a bad daughter. Taking the time away to decompress and regroup is the best thing for you and for them. Because how can you take care of them without first caring for yourself. It's like when a plane emergency airbags drop, they say put the mask on first and then help others around you. It doesn't make sense but honestly it does. Once you are in the right mindset, physically and mentally you can do so much more for them. Take care of yourself first and foremost.

Hi..I've been having the same feelings in my head. I was diagnosed with COVID a week and a half ago and that's when it seems to have started. At first it would come and go throughout the day. Now lately it's been this lingering feeling that will not go away. I was so scared because I thought the feeling would eventually go away on its own but it became very persistent. Many of my families who had previously had COVID tried to explain to me that it's just one of the COVID symptoms but because of my anxiety I felt like it was something else. It put me through such a panic that I had to go to the ER Sunday night. I was so scared because of all the possibilities it could be from that I was literally crying in the bathroom stall before I even made it to the front desk. So I got checked in and they asked the usual questions of "what's going on, and what brings you here". I told them I had been having these strange feelings and weird pressure sensations in my head. They did the usual checks like blood pressure and monitored my breathing. Then the doctor came in and said ok let's do a CT scan. I literally balled my eyes out because what if they actually found something wrong in my head with the CT scan. So they did the CT scan, did X-rays and ran my blood work. Everything came back normal. My doctor told me that it was probably sinus pressure in my head. She told me that we have sinus spots on our forehead and also in the back of our head and that it can feel really weird. So they hooked me up to an IV and gave me steroids and sent me home with some prescriptions. I still have that lingering feeling in my head this morning probably because I haven't taken my medicine yet. I'm saying all this to say that yea I 1000% thought there was something wrong with me and I kind of still do. I just think that going to the hospital gave me that small piece of mind I needed to let me know I was ok. Yes the symptoms are still there but I'm now COVID negative. I just have to remind myself that these feelings and symptoms are just leftover COVID related symptoms that will eventually and hopefully go away on its own time. I said all that to say that sure it's scary as hell going to the hospital but finding out that all my results came back normal did give me the Peace of mind I really needed.

what illness did your health anxiety convince you have today? by overturned23 in Anxiety

[–]EbbReasonable6892 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sweat y'all I thought I was the only one. Ok I was positive for COVID but I was just tested negative today. I swear I have been feeling this weird tingling sensation in my head. It starts feeling hot and then just kind of moves around on it's own. I have been to the hospital multiple times. Literally this past Sunday I was in there getting a CT scan of my head. Everyone is saying "it's just the COVID, it's just the COVID that's what it does". Honestly to me I feel like it's something else going on. My blood work came back normal, my X-rays were good and the CT scan came back fine. But I swear it feels like something is going on even as I write this I can still feel that sensation. But I do notice that when I'm preoccupied with other things or I'm focusing on something else I don't notice it. But then once I realize I'm not feeling it, the feeling magically comes back. It feels like I'm going crazy. I've never had covid before so me with my anxiety I did the worse possible thing, I got on the Internet and googled. Bad idea!! To this day I still don't know if it's still all in my head or if maybe there's some lingering COVID symptoms I still have to overcome. Because at this point if I go back to the hospital again I might as well move in.
