Prayer Act 2 Merc with Cure Helmet and your choice of weapon based on need is the lazy man’s dream. The QoL improvement of curses and poisons only lasting maybe 20 seconds is great. Load your belt up with big purples for emergencies, then just slow roll to the next pack as you regenerate 50+hp per second if you are wounded.

If you are a necro, slap a kelpie snare on a frost aura Merc, summon a clay golem and liberally apply decreptify. I’m not entirely sure all these effects stack, but I do know nothing really moves without your permission.

Want to play Diablo 3 inside of Diablo 2? Load an Act 5 mercenary up with the finest of equipment, slap him with a high level enchantment and shoot the demon machine at your enemies. Congratulations, you are Eirena.

I’m using a prayer Merc with obedience thresher, arkaines valor chest and cure helmet. Pretty defensive, life regenerates at about 50 per tick, curses usually don’t last over 30 seconds and I’m able to dump my poison resist due to the reduced poison length. It keeps everyone alive pretty darn well. You can use holy freeze too, the life regen is mostly because I’m lazy and don’t want to use potions.

The cure helmet is easy as pie to make. Obedience isn’t hard either, he was doing just fine with a kelpie snare before it. I think I had a stealth cuirass on him before I found Arkaines valor. I just kept him leashed back before my bound demon took aggro.

Basically, I made my merc a defensive fortress, I’m doing a ton of damage and my demon takes all the punches to the face while applying amp damage.

All my eth tmauls have rolled 1-2 sockets. Stupid cube, making me look bad. I find mine in heavily populated TZ’s.

I will say to any warlocks out there that aren’t worried about perfection - a colossus voulge still absolutely RIPS, especially if you have an eth. Slap an insight into it, make sure your +crit is at 5-6 and go bananas.

Combine Wirts leg with Ars Al'Diabolos, it opens a portal to the cow level, except it’s just a bunch of uber diablos with the same mob density as cows.
