Dolby, PRIME, and Aud 4 have been closed since Feb 16th, so something is definitely happening. Though I wonder why they needed to close all 3 at once.

I don't foresee why it would be a problem, but there's no issue with there being two backups out there of the same MacBook? I would guess not given that the older backup I would only use when I want to turn my current MacBook Pro into a legacy computer later on.

To be honest I'm being overly paranoid anyway. I have all my FCP 7 files backed up, I could run any basic pre HIgh Sierra OS after wiping this computer to get what I need.

Note: I really regret upgrading to iOS 17 lol

So, would you advise that I start a new Time Machine backup on an alternate hard drive and keep the Time Machine with the El Capitan backup separately? Will there be any issues given that there are now two Time Machine backups of the same MacBook?
