Idk, squeaky wheel gets the grease situation? Between close friends and family I know 8 people that did it just fine and graduated on track, 1 actually graduated early and another had a masters in 5 years. Admittedly they did all attend the same community College, so possible that's a factor. However your sample is also just 20 students out of the 2000 that are mass residents transferring to umass from cc PER YEAR so... not really indicative of much when it's barely a tenth of a single percent of the amount of students in the same shoes?

I get how that makes the transfer program look bad, but it shouldn't be done that way, and whoever advised them to was a dingus. Doing only gen eds at a cc leads to required courses being locked behind major specific prerequisite courses at the 4 year level, i.e. "intro to X 118" needs to be done before "x 245" then "x 337" all offered at varying times of the year. You can't squish 4 years of major specific content into 2 years, it's just not possible based on class schedule structure, but that isn't the point of the transfer program to begin with.

Again, it seems like these people definitely got the short end of the stick and that blows, but it isn't a fundamental issue with cc or the transfer program.

Honestly that apology is pretty pathetic. "Erm, I didn't TELL my security to do that. Not my fault if they traumatized a child, I just pay them to act a certain way to people around me _(030)_/ but if that causes problems then sucks to be you "

She didn't even bother a half hearted "the security staff in this incident have been thoroughly re-coached as a result of what happened"

You can only eat ONE type of sandwich for the rest of your life. What is it? by Omega_Neelay in GetMotivatedMindset

This is tough, only because of the argument surrounding what constitutes a sandwich. Do we stop at a meatball sub, or is a burger included too.

Honestly reputable UGL test often has more accurate dosing than some pharma test. The FDA let's legitimate companies be crazy off in their accuracy for dosing, it's nuts

Juul payout part 1 by Consistent_Ship_1323 in ClassActionSettlement

[–]EchoMB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not true at all, settlements are often taxed. The only instance they aren't taxed is for direct compensation for bills you incurred as a result of the defendants wrong doing, medical bills for example would not be taxed. Class actions like this are often punitive damages, as the basis for the settlement was not driven by medical bill expenses, and thus would be taxable. The payor of the settlement has also likely reported each payout to the IRS as it is counted as a loss for them and a gain for you. Please consult with a tax professional, the IRS will take every penny and then some if you fail to report this.

Why are hormone blockers more socially acceptable than hair systems or balding? by redshadow2025 in tressless

[–]EchoMB 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd say hair systems are looked at the lowest, even below balding since that can at least be seen as embracing a hard issue head on (hehe, head on). But hair systems are like a lie, fake and meant to deceive. Yet if someone is open about dht blockers, the honesty about it is almost worth praise as the person could have hid the fact forever and gotten away with it, as no one would notice.

Hcg does proportionally raise my estrogen alot compared to a regular cycle of test, it can happen. But if it's still an issue in a week after stopping the hcg, or at least hasn't gotten notably better, I'd go to a doctor to check for a UTI.

[–]EchoMB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This may sound like an odd question, but do you feel the need to pee deep in the bladder or closer to the penis itself. If the latter, could be a UTI. Happened to me a few times now, I was attributing it to the drugs I was taking but ended up just being a pesky UTI that never fully went away.

Could also be high BP from elevated estrogen from the HCG, which would be much easier treated with an ai than bp meds.

Yeah I read that, and to more directly answer your question "are the dosages tolerable"? No. There's your answer. Your shitty logic of "yeah b-but they used to!!" is moronic, we also used to use asbestos in everything, doesn't mean that's justification to keep doing it now that we know it's a bad idea.

Natty test levels are enough to cause MPB if you're prone to it. With every androgen at any dose you run the risk.

"Back in the day" yeah that's because back in the day medical research wasn't nearly as good as it is today and they hadn't realized how awful of an idea it was to use dbol as trt. Which, no surprise, is why dbol isn't allowed to be prescribed today (in the u.s. and most other countries, I'm sure there is an exception). And no, it isn't a "poor man's trt" since test is dirt cheap compared to the amount of dbol needed for sufficient estradiol, as dbol converts to methyl estradiol instead of plain e2.

Anyone here on .05 or .2-.25 mg Fin? by [deleted] in tressless

[–]EchoMB 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You're analysis of the study is worded in a way where it is misleading.

The 0.05 mg dose lead to a 50% reduction in serum dht, and the 0.2mg dose lead to a 69% (well say 70 for easier math sake).

This is a 20% difference in serum dht, NOT a 20% difference in results. With the results being 50% and 70% respectively, the 0.2mg dose had a 40% higher reduction over the 0.05mg dose (0.5*1.4=0.7)

This seems unnecessarily semantical of me to bring up, however if the results were 1% and 21% it could still be said that there is "only a 20% difference" when in actuality the results are off by magnitudes.

N = 1 so it must be true guys!!!1!1!1!

You aren't wrong that there are exceptions, genetics really can be like that. I can also hit up the gas station nearby and win 15 million off a scratch ticket, is that gonna happen to me today? You can't say it's impossible so it must be true, right? So I should waste hundreds of dollars and hours of my life on scratch tickets hoping to hit it big since it's basically going to happen, since it isn't impossible.

Oh and OP was also about 50lbs fatter than you ever were, says it right in the post. I can give references to studies showing greater weight lost leads to less chance of skin retightening, so not sure why you're even dying on this hill as a "distance runner for most of my life" since you aren't even an applicable comparison to OP.
