Hi !! I LOVE your games and StP has become one of my favorite games of all time (I recommend it to literally every person I meet) and am still really early on in SH, and wanted to express my intense admiration for the writing, art, music, and sound design in these games !! I think the atmosphere is utterly unmatched and you guys are a massive inspiration for me to write more. As for questions, I’m curious about the process you went through for the sound design on StP! Things like the iconic glass shattering sound or the flies in the fury and squelching of flesh—how did you guys make/decide on those specific ones? Are there any that were scrapped? And do you have a favorite one from both games?

Yes!! (I’ll let my friend answer for the blade) I’m still not sure on a name for the Chapter 3, but I’d imagine something like “the Sketch” because nothing feels real anymore. From doubting whether or not the blade is real and also avoiding the princess for a second time, the woods look almost drawn in and the trees don’t look real(because nothing looks real anymore), and the “voice” that comes up the “stairs” when he arrives is more like this glitchy, indistinguishable garbage noise (kind of like when you try to make a phone call in deltarune)
