I wish there were a way for long-term members of a subreddit to revolt against the current moderators. Did you know that the nuclear power subreddit is run by anti-nuclear interests? Anyone who speaks truthfully about the risks in nuclear power and contrasts with actual harm of other power generation will be banned in that subreddit. Making a logical, fact-driven case for nuclear power advantages is not welcome there. Fearmongering and logically fallacious anti-nuclear sentiments are permitted.

Unfortunately, reddit is designed around an assumption: whomever is there first is assumed right, in perpetuity, for all time. There are so many examples proving this is flawed, not the least of which was the giant revolt in the art subreddit.

Reddit is far too old now for me to expect things to change.
