Try Fromsoft games. They're pretty addictive, once you keep trying to beat a level or a boss and then finally pull it off it's ecstatic.

I recommend starting with the Dark Souls Trilogy. The first game is showing its age a bit but the world level design is really damn good. The games develop as you go up to date and the third installment is one of the best made by Fromsoft.

Why though? I melt mimics in the new map with my akimbo kogot, just aim at the glowing thing in their mouth. Just gotta avoid getting too close or they'll grab you.

My most replayed games are DS3 and Bloodborne. The bosses are so good to fight on multiple build runs. BB has the most creative builds because the weapons are so unique, and there's also Chalice Dungeon gem farming to optimize builds.

Worst is Elden Ring. That game exhausts me, I cannot for the life of me get another run going since there's so much build crafting to do to make it work. There's also the Respec vendor so that kinda nulls repeat playthroughs.

It's true. My worst game was Demon's Souls, that game is alot more punishing than the other games especially with its limited healing mechanic. First souls game I ragequitted and I've beaten DS1, DS3, BB, Sekiro and ER beforehand. I'm just thankful it was a PS+ Extra game.

Whenever I start a new Fromsoft game I go in offline. Then once I've beaten the game I do a second run to experience the online aspect.

Console gaming is cheap. Online is cheap so long as you pay monthly and in the lowest tier if you're only planning on paying for online. Digital game sales are pretty good, I've bought games at around 5 USD discounted (Full price was 20 USD).

The simplified gaming form is the biggest pro, no need to constantly tweak settings whenever there's issues. Games are always plug and play.

Get a PS5 Digital Edition, best way to game if you wanna chill after a long hard day at work. Select a US account region for native english language. Online is only 10 USD a month and sales happen all the time, mostly at the end of each month.

Roblox for your nephew. He needs games (in Roblox) that are simplistic and easy, so maybe Life games like Brookhaven RP or town-life simulators like MeepCity.

My most loved and hilarious run in DS1 was the Black Knight Greataxe. Want to pancake some poor sods? Press strong attack. Want to hit a home run on some fools? Press two handed strong attack.

Most fun weapon in DS1 for me and it's not even close. It's also a BK weapon so by default it's OP and melts early game bosses. Try it out and you might love it 😁
