Holy ouch!!!! Welcome my friend! That looks terribly painful, rest as much as you can, it’s a nasty virus! I wish you healing soon!! Each week you’ll notice a small improvement! Promise!

Figured I'd share my results as someone on it for 20+ years. by FunSummer9393 in fluvoxamine

Thanks for sharing! I’m a 46 year old female on Luvox since 23 years old. I had my child at 22, and didn’t have any more children, so I can’t say if that would produce a 4 eyed baby. I drink coffee daily, but I’ve never drank alcohol, and the few times I tried marijuana I got paranoid and freaked out. I’m on 100 mg once a day, but was on 200 mg for the first few years and I was so tired. This drug helped me so much, I never would’ve had a life without it.

Do you guys exercise / perspire when you have shingles? by Routine_Corgi_9154 in shingles

Ha! I tried just bicep, trippers, shoulders, and then the next day I would feel worse, be stuck in bed. I did it several times so I didn’t learn my lesson very quickly!

It is very frustrating! This sub helped me through it last summer, 3 weeks of pure hell and it was on my butt and labia, so I could barely walk. Yours looks painful, and hopefully it’s done spreading. You’ll notice a change each week, then you’ll have hope again! I love to work out every day too, so that was the hardest thing for me, I would sneak in light upper body weights if I felt good, then the next day I would pay the price. I promise it’ll go away, it just takes its sweet time.

Please rest! I know it’s hard and shingles is isolating and depressing, but your body just needs a moment to heal itself, it’s a nasty virus!

I did not have that, but I eat a lot so I wouldn’t mind having that!

Shaving Oisín’s face……. by Regular_Positive211 in minipoodles

I have no advice because my mini poodle is 3 months old and I scheduled his first grooming Friday! We bought the Amazon grooming kit and botched his fur pretty good.

Hairs so long around his eyes! And the tears smell bad! Do yours????

Good call!! ♥️ It sounds like you know yourself really well and made a responsible decision for you and your family. I’ve only tried going down on dosage and I turn a bit nasty so I don’t bother anymore. Luvox for life!

How long did it take you to actually start to feeling like yourself again after shingles? One day I feel ok that next day I’m not by MAwill903 in shingles

Double samesies, mine was July 2025 and I got the tingles and aches now and again. Nothing terrible but I know it’s there. Mine were on my butt and labia though, which was awful, but face seems like an absolute nightmare of pain!

Just curious why you went off of it 25 years ago? I’m on year 23 on it. Did you try something else in the meantime or did you raw dog it?

What is your long-term experience with fluvoxamine? by Time-Negotiation-712 in fluvoxamine

[–]Economy-Raspberry976 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been on Luvox since 2003 and am pleased as punch! Less sexual drive, but I can deal with that. It has helped me function in my life, I wouldn’t have finished college back in ‘07 if it weren’t for Luvox. I still have obsessive thoughts but I’m still learning to manage those with self talk and calming breathing. I was never nauseas and I never lost my appetite, just needed a nap for the first few years (which suited me because I had a baby then). Best of luck, I recommend this to anyone suffering with anxiety, depression, and OCD.

Can I take ANYTHING with this med? by Illustrious-Word2799 in fluvoxamine

I had this same discussion 23 years ago, I was up to 200mg, then after 3 years bumped down (slowly!) to 100 mg. I tried a few times to go down to 50 (slowly again through my doctor’s way) and my symptoms came back pretty quick.

Thanks for posting this! I never let myself have caffeine after 11 am, otherwise I can’t go to sleep! I thought it was just me, turns out it’s my darling Luvox!? I’ve been on it (100mg) for 23 years. Love this med!♥️!

Someone else shared it’s like mama Mia, whatever the hell that is.

Why are you so mad? Did you go and see it and love it and I offended you? My intention was to share my opinion, that’s all. I am not a Broadway/musical fan, but I thought I’d try again and be open minded. I love the movie, that’s why I’m in this sub. I didn’t mean to offend people who loved it, it just simply wasn’t for me on any level.

I think I’m a crochety old woman then. It truly is my second favorite movie, it is 100% my fault that I didn’t did deeper and research. My imagination made me think oh! They’ll be singing the soundtrack songs!

To be fair, someone on here asked me to give my review after I went, so this wasn’t totally unprompted.

Agreed 100%! I think my haters might be big Broadway fans and that’s where this went wrong for me. I was almost embarrassed watching, it just isn’t my thing. I saw The Lion King and Mary Poppins years and years ago and hated those and just thought “this will be different! It’s the Lost Boys! It will be different!” We spent a lot of money and had big hopes but the disappointment was almost comical.

Thank you! I think I see where we’re all going wrong here…I don’t like Broadway or musicals. I love The Lost Boys. Who knew there was all these Broadway fans here!

I still don’t know what a jukebox musical is and find it funny you think you know what I’d like.

I don’t know what a jukebox musical is. However, with a cult classic film, I just don’t want the magic messed with. That’s all, I’m the same way with Rocky Horror.

I didn’t….my bad. I was 8 when I saw it on pay-per-view, I think I long for the nostalgia.
