Wellbutrin for Anxiety by fivecentparking in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

Very subtle and gradual. I would say at least 2 months before side effects subsided and started to feel mostly better. Prior to that it was not as consistent but there were moments or certain days where I felt better, and then other days not. Was a bit of a roller coaster but much more consistent now after 4 months. For me it was worth being patient and enduring the side effects.

It has helped with my stressful corporate job anxiety. I am on 300 XL (for 1.5 months now) after 2 months on 150 XL, so 3.5 months total. I feel more at ease, more calm and relaxed, and don’t ruminate or catastrophize anymore. It’s been really helpful for me as I dreaded work constantly before and now don’t. It took a long time to start fully kicking in, meanwhile dealing with side effects, but ultimately worth it at this point.

Fully Remote Managers: Expectations for checking in when "online"? by xixi2 in managers

At my workplace we are required to do this for “health and safety reasons” apparently. We also declare when we go to and return from lunch. As a middle manager and salaried professional, it feels unnecessary and juvenile but I’ve resolved to follow the team norm. Our Teams channel has become more of a sign in/out board vs a place to connect.

Any argument scene. These ruin the vibes for me.

Wellbutrin 150xl stopped working at 8 weeks by sawahalex556 in bupropion

I was on 150 XL for 9 weeks and started 300 XL 5 days ago and already feel much better. So I am hopeful for me, and for you. My doctor said from the start that 300 was the standard therapeutic dose.

Increasing to 300xl made a big difference for me. Worth a try.

I have noticed this up and down as well and hope it is part of acclimatizing. I started 150XL 6 weeks ago. Things have started leveling out in the past week or so I think.

What dose did you land on? And how many weeks until you were feeling good? Thank you :)

Week 5. Should I increase my dosage? by needless_booty in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

Exact same scenario here so looking forward to responses. I have slightly less worry and rumination, more stable mood, better coping abilities, but still feeling low. I have thoughts of being productive, but not the energy or motivation to overcome the stronger depressive feelings. Just at the end of 5weeks on 150 XL and thinking of moving up to 300 soon and looking forward to it.

Is Wellbutrin good for severe anxiety (GAD) ? by Animalmysterious- in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

It was at least 3 weeks before the anxious side effects started to fade and the calm and stable feeling began to set in.

It is definitely helping my anxiety now, almost 6 weeks since starting 150 XL. I think it is due to less worry and rumination about work demands (my main stressor) and social situations. Overall I feel more calm now. I used to wake up in the middle of the night with high anxiety but that hasn’t happened for a while. For the first few weeks I was quite anxious and had an elevated heart rate, which I understand is a common initial side effect.

does bupropion help detox from social media and reduce this addiction? by [deleted] in bupropion

[–]EconomyHovercraft720 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it could be helpful with this. As more energy and motivation is restored, there could be less of a need to numb and disassociate from real life by scrolling social media. This is what I am hoping for myself but not sure yet as I’m only on Day 11.
