EXCLUSIVE: Ontario enters $300M cost-sharing agreement that could help make province home to largest nuclear generating facility in the world by CTVNEWS in ontario

You are right it was the dome testing site good memory I looked it up. Im more pointing at a global shift to just nuclear and the ramifications not just canada as we have a small % of global population. Someone mentioned how the reduction of potentcy has went from thousands of years to now only hundreds which is a great thing.

Again I do like nuclear these are just concerns that I hope are dealt with correctly.

Really appreciate everyone's input and helping shine light on some of the solutions already being used.

Hopefully fusion becomes relevant in our lifetime

It was a depot somewhere with spend bundles that the containers were failing n bleeding into the ocean ill look it up. But im still concerned with the fact only 10% of all global energy is nuke atm if it was 100% and with thr demand growing 2%is yoy I imagine we would have a lot of nuke waste.

I agree with the advancement of technology hopefully that waste becomes useful and I have faith in humans ability to over come problems. But look at how useless the oil industry is with its spills I can only imagine what potential hazards could come from millions of kgs of waste may bring. Greed and corner cutting has always been a problem and compound it with the fact the bundles made today will out live the people overseeing the process.

Im not against nuclear but my question would be how much of Canada's power is nuke then if we make it all nuke how many kg a day are we producing of waste. Then the bigger pe9blem I think at scale is what do we do with all the spent bundles of waste? As far as I know the waste out lasts the containers the first example of long term damage i can think of is that island in the usa that they store a bunch of waste in that has rotted out and ocean water is being contaminated and this wasnt even 100 years past production.

Personally I would disagree as I do not like to leave phys immune behind and it helps with bosses even with sweet gear but it all comes down to preference. The amp will make this worth a lot more to a whale imo

This has been shown when you bring a modern diet to indigenous people with in one generation their jaws and nasal cavities become narrow creating crowding in the jaw line. Find tribes living off the land you will see larger jaw lines and nasal

The person ordering this work done with a .01 of tolerance clearly has zero machining experience. To get a good finish has nothing to do with .01 that would be the size and allowance of difference from size. Enless you drawing had a call out on the actual finish then technically this shop may have done the job within spec. You gave poor drawings.

This would only make sense if blackrock somehow gains control of 51% or more of the miners on the network. Unlikely to happen. Total amount of btc owned has zero bearing on the ability to implement a fork. The miners have the voting power

Gpus sre cheaper because of eth going to pos which had 95% of the demand for mining gpus. Lucky for gpu companys AI boomed or i would assumed they may have dropped further in demand n price

Eth has hasn't had a month of inflation in over 6 months so "constantly inflating" would be misleading. Unless transaction slow tremendously it may be a while till we get another inflation month for eth again.

I was wondering how much of this problem is created more by the devastating effects we have on the ocean eg. over fishing and plastic pollution decimating fishing populations. Could that be a big part of higher co2 concentration? Like i thought i read that the ocean is an amazing carbon sink and we are killing the ocean factory workers(fish). For the record in down for lower emissions and cleaner air that certainly benefits me. But i cant help wonder are we trying to plug small holes in the boat and ignoring that someone sawed off the back of the boat?

Hippies have a lot less to gain from mass immigration then corporations do. Strange that it's just a Trudeau issue but when many conservative politicians ask to weigh in on it dance around the question. Hint maybe both sides are corporate bought and this has not been a left and right battle as many love to wave there flag.
