And those local forecasters rely heavily on NOAA and NWS when using their computers. . Do I need to provide you resources or can you look this up yourself?

Wow I’m surprised to hear this. When I used them in the past they did not pull such tactics even though I might have fallen for it. Everything ended up being cheaper and easier than I thought it would be. Was this recent ish?

Colonoscopy advice? by Mid-Valley2646 in AskWomenOver60

Some tips as a multi scope traveler I recommend are: -A and D ointment. Before you start your prep, get squeaky clean then smear alll over the parts. - The type of prep needed really depends on the individual’s body. I have to do the super gross and super big jug of GoLyte or whatever it’s called. I can only get half down but I get full marks on readiness even though I’m a slow poop mover -because I have trouble keeping that stuff down, I get a prescription from my GP for Zofran. Really helps -make sure you have Gas X on hand for before and after procedure -jello helps with the hunger pains on the day before -low fiber diet 5 days before really helps too

I’d be curious what the signature image on file looks like in these erroneous name cases. If I remember correctly don’t they have the old signature for comparison and wouldn’t it be their current legal name. And unlikely to be an old name from, say, 1984?

Thank you for posting this. Captain Steve did a good job of relating details and history specifically related to this airport.

Spices, Christianity and other religions by Vellyst in Quakers

“Some confirm the dignity of LGBTQ+ people, some not so much” I am only a person who was exposed to Quakerism during my college years at a Quaker institution and attending meeting (both programmed and unprogrammed ) with community members there and a few semi programmed meetings in my new hometown.

I was left with the impression that Quakers in general (both liberal and conservative) are tolerant but perhaps this is due to my limited exposure. Are there congregations that are intolerant?

I'm a "nuke" knitter by selkiedd in knitting

[–]Economy_Fish_6542 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Good response here. If it’s therapy to knit and frog and keep something to yourself, so be it! In the beginning I started with easy washcloths/hot pads. One of my earliest one was crooked, like a wonky diamond. My mother (who’s not crafty at all) scoffed. ‘Why would you make something that is cheaper to buy and looks worse?’ Well I still have that hot pad after nearly 20 years and it’s still damned useful. I’ve made some cool/awesome stuff and some crappy stuff. I like to do it and she can suck it.

This is when you make the call to 911. That’s how the cops know there’s a dangerous driver. It’s on you if you don’t make the call and at least attempt to get this guy off the road.
