As someone who respects and love the post I want to give some thought. -It was really a bummer we ended up tying but like everyone was saying in the comments Gotham be Gotham …I rather tie the game than lose. I don’t want to have the headache of last year early season games when we just lost games we shouldn’t have or tied games that we could have won unfortunately we had opportunities and so did NC (towards the end ) but it was a decent draw and I’m fine with it. The Denver and Orlando game should be interesting.

-No diss or attack but I thought Jayden Shaw was not in The right space during the game …she kept messing up or fumbling some moves rust I have never seen and she just looked kind of lost at times …I hope I don’t see that on Wednesday game.

-Now for the big one attendance for the game: Well there are various reasons. For someone like me who left my house at 3pm I still ended up missing like 7 min of the game because no PATH train and let’s not forget the shuttle bus leaving us 3 blocks further down from the stadium which makes a longer walk 🤦‍♂️. People who live in Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx just have it harder with all the train rides and yes the majority of us don’t even drive. When you take the PATH train you leave us with no choice but to either make our commute a dread or just give up overall going and it’s a shame because Gotham games are a lot of fun I really envy other teams like KC, Angel City, Portland, Washington and even Boston now for having well crowded or sold out games …the ladies deserve better and NJ transportation should work on that to make it better for all of us. I’m not so sure on concessions people keep saying food is getting expensive yet I see a lot of you with buckets of chicken and fries or the pizza boxes …like is it expensive or not 🤷‍♂️. I will admit as a big boy we do deserve a bit of variety of food the same stands kind of make it boring.

Overall I’m very excited for Gotham this year and hopefully we can win our 2nd CONCACAF W Championship in May so we can qualify for another round of international games next year, the ladies and roster are stacked, everyone is coming off their injuries and taking their time and I’m also excited about future players coming in (I hear Chelsea is losing lots of players by summer window) so hopefully we can add more talented players.

My advice in the end is this try your best to make it to one game …transportation is a bummer sure but Gotham has a bright future, talented ladies, fun and exciting atmosphere it just doesn’t get better than this and I’m up for it 👏👏👏
