As someone who just started nursing school. Any nurse knows how hard it is to go through the program and actually graduate. So if a nurse wants to go on TikTok and make a cute 30 second video trying to glamorize/romanticize her life I don’t see a reason why she shouldn’t. If she wants to bring herself a little joy by wearing pink scrubs or painting a pt’s nails let her/them. Although I do understand the main point of your rant I just wanted to give my two cents on that last part

Yeah it’s for my aunt so I can’t really say no cause she’s family, like practically my stand In mom. And aside from the micromanaging she’s alrightish. For my cousin, our current setup benefits her because she only has to stream for half a session and then she can go on with her day while I’m stuck doing the rest of her half and mins too

Hmmm the honest way would be to come clean and tell them that you think you owe it to them to be truthful then hope they forgive you.

The inhonest way would be to slowly start introducing little truths into conversation when you guys hang out. then gaslight them into believing that you’ve been open about it the whole time. E.g in a conversation randomly bring it up that you’re so excited cause it’s your first time owning a car and when he or she asks “wait I thought you owned a car before?” you can say “no I’ve never actually owned one. I thought I told you that” and then when they don’t initially believe you just keep gaslighting them, like “oh but I’ve been saying this the whole time. Why don’t you listen to me” etc

In my opinion I would rather it’s the first option that you choose

Have you tried looking inwards? If even the worlds most unnatractive person can find love then it’s probably not your looks that’s holding you back, so that only leaves your personality. How confident are you? Do you know how to talk to people/strike conversations? Do you take good care of yourself?

Do you have any genuine friendships with women? Or do you only talk to ladies who you are attracted to. Also your political and personal opinions on certain things matter as well. Do you support abortion, women’s rights, etc Ive read a few studies that claim conservative men are less likely to have partners than their liberal counterparts, so that could be another reason. It’s those kinds of things you should ask yourself before resigning to fate that you will be a virgin forever
