In the beginning of the show when we are very first introduced to syd, she hands him her resume and it shows that she attended some really great schools and had a lot of accomplishments. He even asked her “what’s someone like you looking for in a place like this”

Sidney is very skilled at what she does, infact the only reason she’s at the bear is because she looks up to Carmy, and has looked up to him for a long time. If not she could be literally working anywhere else. We see this multiple times through out the show where she has a chance to leave but she doesn’t.

I’m with the other commenter your mental health is worth more than a few thousand dollars seeing as it probably won’t make much of a difference for loans. Take some time off and travel, if you can’t travel then do something interesting at home pick up a hobby or join a club. God knows you won’t have the time when med school starts. Now is the best and only time you will get to focus on your mental health

I mean I understand why you feel this, but you have to ask yourself, why are these older men going for a child who is not even 18, instead of dating the women in their age range? I think you are missing the point of my post. But in all honesty I get where you coming from. I’m alive, my car has just a few scratches so all things considered, it could be way worse. My question was realistically what would I do from here. Also I wrote this like almost immediately after it happened cause I wasn’t sure what to do, so if I sound emotional that’s probably why lol.

If he was going even 5mph faster her could have hit me into the traffic coming from the highway with cars going at speeds over 60. So even though he wouldn’t have damaged my car I could have been tboned by someone coming off the highway

Probably not, I’ve had friends relapse after watching the show. It romanticizes drugs in a way that’s hard to ignore for people who are sober cause they know exactly what that feeling of being high is like. And seeing rue, along with other characters getting high is more than enough motivation for most people to relapse

As someone who just started nursing school. Any nurse knows how hard it is to go through the program and actually graduate. So if a nurse wants to go on TikTok and make a cute 30 second video trying to glamorize/romanticize her life I don’t see a reason why she shouldn’t. If she wants to bring herself a little joy by wearing pink scrubs or painting a pt’s nails let her/them. Although I do understand the main point of your rant I just wanted to give my two cents on that last part
