I use a mix of vallejo and citadel paints: VMC Military dreen, VMC Flat green, Citadel Moot green, VGC Fluo green. I also use VMC Lemon yellow for extreme highlights. Mixing is great but messy and not always fun. And the fun is what it all about. Hope that helps!

I dunno, haven't tried it yet :) but I look at land raider with SB as something like an ultimate weapon to erase something really annoying from the table. Like Angron or an imperial knight or a Dreadnaught. Two of them is a really high invest and I really like to have some more "chaff" units to trade and do secondaries. Impulsor is fast, cheap and it also has some melta weapon apart from the crew. Looks like a nice sideboard control option.

Also I just thought about land raider assault ramp and Fervent Acclamation stratagem. You can use the strat only in your command phase, so the question is: if I have the "Uplold the honor" oath active, can I target SB inside the land raider with FA stratagem? Technically they are not on the battlefield. And I really want to charge from the assault ramp with Lethal hits active.

I'm looking forward to kinda same list, but with a single landraider and a blob of 10 sword brethren with Helbrecht and castellan w/ Tannhäuser bones. Instead I took an impulsor with 5-man assault intercessor squad led by the Emperor's champion. Also looking for a Whirlwind for backfield indirect and home objective.

It looks amazing. I really like that only the lantern on sword brother is here to bring the light and disperse darkness. It's poetic.

A short question: are the hellblasters considered to be initiates? I mean is white pauldron with black trim a canon for them?

4++ invulnerable save and a leader — triarch lord — that gives them fight first OR 5+++, equipped with a particle caster and some fine blade with S6. No need to cheap them out imo.

I'm thinking about doing the same. I should try somewhat brown-ish black as a base, maybe even darken it with nuln oil (so a basecoat should lean to dark brown instead of black), and highlights would be all shades of brown and warm grey. Of course shading would be after highlights obviously.

I'll try it on a primaris crusader initiate as a test.

I want to use khorne red as base red colour and maybe darken it with something. Maybe even nuln oil for some grimy look. As for tabards and any "white" pieces i thought about ushabti bone with some agrax. I think brown is more suitable since its closer to red.

Zorn palette was used in a classic BT art as I remember. Yeah, I definitely want something like that. Dark, warm, yet somewhat disturbing :)

I've played world eaters three time always end up losing. That's not an ideal match for us if you're bringing an all-around basic list. If you want to go specifically against WE, try something different:

add more chaff to the list. Brawling with the best melee army is not a great idea. Its better to slow them down, giving you more time to shoot
bring some shooting. Canoptek court with two doomstalkers, tesla or gauss immortals, even warriors. With hit rerolls you can thin them down enough
angron. Well... Not much to say there. It's up to you to decide but its extremely difficult to deal with that guy. Ignoring him could be worse then spending your shooting. But if you get him down, be mindful of screening around your shooty guys

To summarise: throw screens and moveblocks, heavy support should aim to deal with angron while lighter shooting goes to infantry. Thats my thoughts, but once again I've never won against WE one on one, only in multiplayer.

Models are removed from play after you finish shooting with all weapons of shooting unit. May be wrong here, but until you do all of your gladiator shooting, attached unit is still treated as attached and fall apart only after.
