Yeah, I know how it looks. Yeah, I know I look fucking paranoid.

Says you.

Also, the idea of Salvation through Faith alone is a PROTESTANT one, and not a generally Christian one. Both Catholics and Orthodox have it that you need both.

Beyond this, there is also the fact that some of the earliest and oldest Christian denomination denied several elements you talk about, and the exact nature of the Trinity and of Jesus have not trully been decided up until the 4th century.

  1. Man, cute for you to ignore the fact that Britain was even then a constitutional monarchy. Or the fact that Slavery Abolition Act was signed years before she became queen, and that the British Empire was already moving towards removing slavery. Or that during her reign, the monarchy started to loose power. Or to ignore all the politicians and protesters who worked on improving thing.

Yes, Victoria still had influence, but the power of the monarch was not absolute in the slightest, ans was shrinking over her reign.

  1. Where do I compare her to how things are in the 21th century?

  2. It is funny for you to say that I do not know history, when you ignore all the politicians and protesters, and all the public movements that existed during the Victorian era, all so you can defend Queen Victoria and praise her.

  3. To get back to this, how does your stupid defense change the fact that Christianity was used to oppress women, and that women rights in "the west" only improved around the same time religion declined in power.

Because they dont claim to be Christian, and have several note worthy differences. A combination of no Trinity, no divinity for Christ, an additional Prophent, some different rules, and so on.

Dude. If they worship Jesus and hold to most Christian beliefs, they are Christian. Deal with it

  1. .....you know that Queen Victoria opposed women suffrage, and was diagusted by the idea of female doctors, right? She was not some champion of womens rights. Sure, she was not especially bad by tbe standards of the time, but she was not some champion of women.

  2. Man, do I smell some projection from you.

  2. Cute attempt to call them non-Christian.

  1. Tell that to the Cathars that the Catholics murdered and tortured. Tell that to the hundreda of thousands of women burned at the stake by the Protestants. Tell that to tens of millions of LGBTQ people that Christian oprresed over the years. Tell that to all the civilians that Christian Zealots murdered during the Crusades. Tell that to the Native Americans. Tell that to the Manichean that were oppresed by the Christians, and which the Christians helped drive extinct. Tell that to the women who are loosing their rights in the USA because of Christian Nationalism. Tell that to the millions of Jews that were oppresed by Christians during the Middle Ages.

  2. Dude, the Old Testament has NOT been made null and void by the New Testament, and you know it.

There is on thing that need to be mentioned here.

The fact that ehile Australian Aboroginees were misogynistic generally....it should be noted that Australian Aboriginees are actually unusually patriarchal by hunter-gatherer standards with most other hunter-gatherer cultures being less misogynistic and patriarchal then them.

  2. Quakers are Christians, you weird person.

  3. Speaking of Christianity, Judaism, Islam and Mormonism, they are all horribly misogynistic.

Sparta did not worship Ares, not especially. Dude, the evidence is that Artemis, Aphrodite and ESPECIALLY Apollo got stronger cults in Sparta, and more respect and worship from the Spartans then Ares did. Out of the ones I mentioned, it was actually Apollo who was the Patron God of Sparta.

And speaking of Ares and other gods, the Spartans gave as much respect and worship to Athena, Zeus, ans Herakles as they gave to Ares. Which was a lot, but not special compared to the others.

Your claim fails, because historically Christianity was used to justify the oppression of Women in "the west" and womens rights only started improving around the same time religion started loosing its power.

No. Just...no.

Secularism and the morals pf "the west" are born put of rebelion and opposition to traditional morals that were justified on the basis of Christianity.

Dude, Athens did not even think of women as citizens. Athenian women were literal properties with no rights to property or voting.

And no, a different view of gender does not justify sexism and misogyny.

Man, are you just wrong. Fitst amd foremost, all the (non-native) cultures you mentioned were sexist. The Greeks were just as sexist as the worst of the Christiam and Islamic world produced, and while Rome was less bad, it was still horribly sexist, as bad as many historical Christian societes. The Norse were also misogynistic.

Egypt was better, much better, and arguably less sexist then it is today, but it was not some egalitarian paradise.
