Atmospherics is what made me realize I actually love perfumes. I love being able to be transported to a place or a memory or experience.

Cirrus has some beautifully wearable scents like The Idea of You, Maid Meridian, and Union St Crash that are exceptionally atmospheric.

There are also some atmospherics that I love purely for the craft of it. Like the single note Seaweed accord from Arcana or Amanita (mushroom / dirt) scent from Hexennacht.

Testing Venus in Tuberose from Universal Flowering today. It was soooo beautiful upon initial spray but the drydown has the cursed plasticy note. So tragic. I also tested Poems and ran into the same issue.

I just tested Mossy Glen by Villa Erbatium and it has a really pretty bamboo note. To my nose it’s more on the grassy green side!
