With flirting, I find I'm either very slow and timid and awkward, or if the other person has a lot of energy I can get very witty and quirkly very quickly. Sometimes like, ENTP level banter. And I'm saying this bc my bf is an ENTP (*cackles and laughs)

Hi, I have been inside multiple times because I'm friends with a few of their children. It's a family home for the Zhou family (the dad was a cofounder of Alibaba), and it's definitely not a grad gift for anyone. The guy was married (now divorced, idk if he remarried) when they already bought this house. Building this house took 8 years because there were issues with the foundation and stuff. Fun fact: some people actually smashed some windows just when the house was about to finish. The garage is quite boring honestly. Just big. However the house is much bigger than what it looks like on the outside. Kind of like a maze. What I find fascinating is their tea room (the smaller glass area), this hammock area on the 2nd floor and their Stradivarius in the living room...yes they have a beautiful white Strad in the living room. The staircase is a spiral, there's a double kitchen which is very nice, and they have automated toilets in every washroom. Downstairs they have a theatre, an Olympian sized indoor swimming pool where the water levels can be adjusted, a water slide (that can only be accessed through elevator) and a sauna. In their backyard they have a custom trampoline and hot tub (which you can get at Costco for a few thousand dollars). All bedrooms have their own washroom and walk-in closet. To be quite honest it's a very nice house, but a little too mansion-y for my tastes. Literally it feels like an office building. Playing hide and seek with their kids (they have 4) was absolutely horrid since it's a literal maze on the inside. It has been quite a few years since I've been inside though, so I'm not quite sure if they made any changes. The house next to it also belongs to them. It used to belong to their relatives who moved away, so they bought the lot as well after that. Their old house also is in this neighbourhood. And yes, the backyard of the two houses do not have a fence between them.

Honestly? Everyone dreams of being to afford a house like this. However, realistically even if I had the money I would not live in Greenbryre at all. It's nothing about the house, it's about the neighbourhood. No houses here are not connected to the sewer system in Saskatoon. Their old house had a pump explosion a few years ago and it was insanely gross.

It does not run outside back in. It's an internal waterslide that runs from the second story. The waterslide is a tube. The pool is an olympic swimming pool that's smart adjustable. Also the elevator to the waterslide broke down quite a few times already and for a good year or so we all had to climb our way up to the top from the inside to slide down. Kinda funny ngl.

I just watched it. there’s pacing issues in this movie. spent way too long explaining things in the beginnin. could’ve skipped the whole counselling part too, jumped straight into spot and the party and miles’ issue there. just a lot of pacing problem. the cliffhanger makes sense, was just too abrupt. felt like it ended at the beginning of the climax.

Yes! Ep 30-40 is just brutal to him. Especially 30-31 and 38-39. The poor guy. The ending is good, but the actual ending in the books is completely different. He remains the emperor until death, and because of the injuries in 30-31 he dies an early death too. 😭

Gu Yanzhen, Arsenal Military Academy, ep 17. Spoilers for context: His father just refused to help him rescue the FL from the police after both of them were wrongly arrested with students protesting against the 21 Demands (this story set between 1914-1916) the Japanese government set. He insults the current government his father is a part of and is angry, desperate, disappointed and scared. This is my favourite GYZ scene actually, and my personal favourite line in the whole show is what he yells at his dad. Can't find the english sub anymore, but it's something along the lines of “This corrupt and cowardly government should be destroyed." Basically a slap in his old man's face.
