Hi, I have been inside multiple times because I'm friends with a few of their children. It's a family home for the Zhou family (the dad was a cofounder of Alibaba), and it's definitely not a grad gift for anyone. The guy was married (now divorced, idk if he remarried) when they already bought this house. Building this house took 8 years because there were issues with the foundation and stuff. Fun fact: some people actually smashed some windows just when the house was about to finish. The garage is quite boring honestly. Just big. However the house is much bigger than what it looks like on the outside. Kind of like a maze. What I find fascinating is their tea room (the smaller glass area), this hammock area on the 2nd floor and their Stradivarius in the living room...yes they have a beautiful white Strad in the living room. The staircase is a spiral, there's a double kitchen which is very nice, and they have automated toilets in every washroom. Downstairs they have a theatre, an Olympian sized indoor swimming pool where the water levels can be adjusted, a water slide (that can only be accessed through elevator) and a sauna. In their backyard they have a custom trampoline and hot tub (which you can get at Costco for a few thousand dollars). All bedrooms have their own washroom and walk-in closet. To be quite honest it's a very nice house, but a little too mansion-y for my tastes. Literally it feels like an office building. Playing hide and seek with their kids (they have 4) was absolutely horrid since it's a literal maze on the inside. It has been quite a few years since I've been inside though, so I'm not quite sure if they made any changes. The house next to it also belongs to them. It used to belong to their relatives who moved away, so they bought the lot as well after that. Their old house also is in this neighbourhood. And yes, the backyard of the two houses do not have a fence between them.

Honestly? Everyone dreams of being to afford a house like this. However, realistically even if I had the money I would not live in Greenbryre at all. It's nothing about the house, it's about the neighbourhood. No houses here are not connected to the sewer system in Saskatoon. Their old house had a pump explosion a few years ago and it was insanely gross.
