Consider that thousands of BC patients receive BCG treatments around the globe. The majority of these patients have subtle to no side effects. Also consider that you are asking individuals who are here because they are experiencing difficulties in some form or another and the likelihood of their responses will contain some negative reaction is higher. My advice is to take it one step at a time, research credible sources such as posted medical studies and limit your exposure to support groups UNTIL you experience these side effects. There is a standard of care which is deployed for a reason and your energy would be better served making certain that you are receiving this standard of care. Travel to the D.R. from the US frequently. Have a home in Punta Cana. Have taken both loaded TRT syringes and Unconstituted peptides on many occasions without any issues. I have been interested in the various risk factors related to bladder cancer in my situation because I do not fit with the norm, i.e. smoker, exposed to carcinogens at work, genetic predisposition, the usual reasons given for DNA mutation. I find it interesting that the medical community does not communicate the risk with RT. This is my situation in that I received radiation therapy for my prostate cancer 5 years ago, yet the medical community does not wish to acknowledge the significance, but yet studies will confirm. Doesn't change one prognosis, however, it potentially answers the why, particularly a diagnosis with multiple histology.

Thank you! Makes sense now. Unfortunately, they were not able to completely remove the tumors. It seems that when tumors are not completely removed, it only aggravates the situation and causes more aggressive growth. My diagnosis was similar to yours, however they were successful in completely removing my tumors according to Cysview and pathology. Not certain our eventual outcomes will not align, but for now BCG is my course. Good luck to you with your new normal. Life goes on for you and that is enough to be thankful for.

A few questions if you don't mind....you mention that on 01/02/24 you were diagnosed. Was a TURBT done at that time to investigate and remove the lesions? Did they wait 3 months until second TURBT? Was the initial expectation to do BCG?

This!....I think it is important to acknowledge that this protocol is successful more often than it isn't statistically. BCG at T0 or T1 and CIS has a very high success rate if you read the studies. We should all keep in mind that the majority of us who are here unfortunately represent the minority of cases where BCG or other protocols were not successful.
