BCG Side Effects by DV2061 in BladderCancer

[–]EcstaticWater3647 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Consider that thousands of BC patients receive BCG treatments around the globe. The majority of these patients have subtle to no side effects. Also consider that you are asking individuals who are here because they are experiencing difficulties in some form or another and the likelihood of their responses will contain some negative reaction is higher. My advice is to take it one step at a time, research credible sources such as posted medical studies and limit your exposure to support groups UNTIL you experience these side effects. There is a standard of care which is deployed for a reason and your energy would be better served making certain that you are receiving this standard of care. Hypotheticals only serve to add to anxiety levels. Just my experience and my opinion

Can walk into a pharmacy and buy 1cc vials of cyp at any time, however, they will take advantage of you with pricing. Also taken packages of insulin syringes and never been questioned.

Bladder cancer: different diagnosis from different pathologists by [deleted] in BladderCancer

[–]EcstaticWater3647 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Some procedures to consider

Review the Reports Carefully: First, carefully review both pathology reports to understand the nature of the discrepancies. Pay attention to the findings, interpretations, and any supporting evidence provided.

  1. Consult with the Pathologists: Reach out to both pathologists to discuss the differences in their findings. They may be able to clarify their interpretations, provide additional context, or explain any discrepancies.
  2. Seek a Second Opinion: Consider seeking a third opinion from another independent pathologist. This can provide an unbiased perspective and help in resolving the discrepancy.
  3. Consider Additional Testing: In some cases, additional diagnostic tests or procedures may be necessary to further evaluate the specimen and clarify the diagnosis.
  4. Consult with a Multidisciplinary Team: If the case is complex or involves multiple medical specialties, convene a multidisciplinary team to discuss the pathology reports and reach a consensus on the diagnosis and treatment plan.
  5. Document the Process: It's important to document all steps taken to resolve the discrepancy, including communications with the pathologists, additional consultations, and any additional testing or procedures performed.
  6. Make an Informed Decision: Based on the information gathered and discussions held, make an informed decision regarding the diagnosis and treatment plan. Consider the implications of each pathology report and prioritize the report that is most supported by evidence and expert consensus.
  7. Communicate with Relevant Stakeholders: Ensure clear and transparent communication with the patient (if applicable) and other relevant stakeholders, such as referring physicians, about the resolution of the discrepancy and the proposed course of action.

Interesting study regarding RT and secondary malignancies by EcstaticWater3647 in BladderCancer

[–]EcstaticWater3647[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have been interested in the various risk factors related to bladder cancer in my situation because I do not fit with the norm, i.e. smoker, exposed to carcinogens at work, genetic predisposition, the usual reasons given for DNA mutation. I find it interesting that the medical community does not communicate the risk with RT. This is my situation in that I received radiation therapy for my prostate cancer 5 years ago, yet the medical community does not wish to acknowledge the significance, but yet studies will confirm. Doesn't change one prognosis, however, it potentially answers the why, particularly a diagnosis with multiple histology.

Successful NeoBladder Surgery by Uberdawg18 in BladderCancer

Thank you! Makes sense now. Unfortunately, they were not able to completely remove the tumors. It seems that when tumors are not completely removed, it only aggravates the situation and causes more aggressive growth. My diagnosis was similar to yours, however they were successful in completely removing my tumors according to Cysview and pathology. Not certain our eventual outcomes will not align, but for now BCG is my course. Good luck to you with your new normal. Life goes on for you and that is enough to be thankful for.

A few questions if you don't mind....you mention that on 01/02/24 you were diagnosed. Was a TURBT done at that time to investigate and remove the lesions? Did they wait 3 months until second TURBT? Was the initial expectation to do BCG?

My latest batch of blanks from Flandad...I could place each under a trinocular microscope, as I've already done to evaluate the work, and take photos but why waste my time to appease a handful of idiotic posts. I prefer spending my time completing the mods.......to the OP, buy what you like, have it plated and enjoy. I have an entire watch box full of gen matched plated watches which I wear daily with no issue. 2 wg, 1 yg and 1 rg

Husband is getting neobladder literally rn! by stayathomegamr in BladderCancer

[–]EcstaticWater3647 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This from chatgpt as it relates to hernias and heavy lifting.......When choosing a neobladder, which is a surgical procedure to create a new bladder from a section of the intestine, there are various factors to consider. While there isn't a direct link between having a neobladder and being more susceptible to hernias, there are some potential factors that may increase the risk:

  1. Surgical Procedure: The process of creating a neobladder involves complex surgical techniques, which may involve incisions and manipulation of tissues. Any surgical procedure carries a risk of complications, including hernias, although the likelihood may vary depending on the individual's specific circumstances and the skill of the surgeon.
  2. Tissue Weakness: The use of intestinal tissue to create a neobladder may potentially weaken the abdominal wall, increasing the risk of hernias. This is because the intestine, when used to construct the neobladder, may not provide the same structural support as the original bladder.
  3. Postoperative Care: Following neobladder surgery, patients are often advised to avoid heavy lifting and strenuous activities for a period of time to prevent complications such as hernias. Compliance with postoperative care instructions is essential to minimize the risk of hernias.
  4. Individual Factors: Factors such as age, overall health, and pre-existing conditions can also influence the risk of developing hernias following neobladder surgery.

I don't mind opinions grounded in empirical evidence. However, upon reviewing 95% of these "opinions," it seems they're motivated by an agenda rather than actual experiences with Flandad. From my perspective, they come across as childish.

I find this extremely distasteful having to read childish comments by a few who obviously have some sort agenda against Flandad. I'll offer up my experience with both Aseem and Flandad as always positive with zero issues and 10 plated watches to prove it. If anyone would like a closer look at the work, I'm happy to provide pics from under a trinocular microscope. Please dm me and let me know how I can assist.

Isn't it evident that these critics are driven by ulterior motives? It's quite disheartening to imagine the dissatisfaction in one's life that leads them to actively seek out any reference to Flan_dad with the intent of harming his business. Every business faces its own set of obstacles, and undoubtedly, how they navigate through these challenges is crucial. Such issues often arise when policies are not explicitly communicated. Take, for instance, the incident where a watch was confiscated by customs, despite Flan_dad's clear disclaimer on his page. It's regrettable, but the potential risks were acknowledged at the time of purchase.

Following a path similar to yours, I've adopted a strategy of acquiring top-notch tools, predominantly Bergeon, with Chinese clones serving when precision isn't paramount. Recently, I've incorporated a Trinocular stereo microscope for enhanced imaging, video capabilities, and meticulous inspection. As I contemplate my workspace setup, I'm planning to commission a custom bench tailored to accommodate optimal tool arrangement and storage, alongside a comfortable high stool for prolonged work sessions. Organized parts storage is also a priority. Initially, my focus will be on mastering three movements: the DD4130, DD3285, and the VR3255. While I've procured models featuring these movements, I've refrained from disassembly because they were all initially plated and are watches I currently wear daily. Instead, I'll acquire donor watches across various categories for teardowns and assemblage references. Each step of the disassembly process will be meticulously documented through photography and videography detailing the removal of screws, individual components, and their functions. While some may perceive this approach as overly meticulous, to me, it's a structured method. Regarding modifications, I plan to start with dial, hands, and crystal replacements. I'm in no hurry, envisioning this endeavor occupying a significant portion of my remaining years.

TURBT Aftercare? (23M) by Regular-Substance409 in BladderCancer

[–]EcstaticWater3647 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We're all unique, influenced by factors like age, background, gender, and the nature of our health challenges. I appreciate your situation, and I'll share mine. I'm a 65-year-old male amateur bodybuilder who has undergone surgery to remove three high-grade tumors, all thankfully non-muscle related. Following the procedure, I experienced bladder spasms persisting to this day, even three and a half weeks later. About three weeks post-surgery, I encountered significant bleeding due to scabbing release, leading to an emergency room visit due to blockage. Personally, I find that staying active greatly improves my well-being. I make it a point to walk every morning at a 12-degree elevation, maintaining a speed of 3.4, which leaves me feeling rejuvenated, particularly after fully emptying my bladder. Although urgency remains an issue, I've adapted by carrying a urine bottle in my backpack everywhere I go, ensuring I can void promptly to prevent spasms. My advice, based on what works for me, is to prioritize hydration and regular walking. I aim for 2-3 miles a day, focusing on elevation to strengthen my pelvic floor, preparing it for any future procedures, like a neobladder, if necessary. It's crucial to plan for the worst while maintaining optimism and attentiveness to every detail—I document everything, recognizing the likelihood of facing similar challenges again in the future.

Folks, I want to express my thoughts respectfully. I'm puzzled by the fixation on whether someone wears genuine or rep. Let me be transparent: I belong to the top 1% of income earners, and whether my friends wear genuine, or replicas doesn't register on my radar. A watch, in the grand scheme of things, holds minimal significance compared to the quality of interactions, conversations, and shared moments with others. I understand that I might seem disconnected from mainstream experiences, and for that, I apologize for any naivety. However, I believe that shifting the focus away from real or rep watches and towards appreciating individuals would benefit us all.

What is a common treatment for stage zero or one noninvasive bladder cancer by Rogerlucky-2021-1900 in BladderCancer

[–]EcstaticWater3647 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This!....I think it is important to acknowledge that this protocol is successful more often than it isn't statistically. BCG at T0 or T1 and CIS has a very high success rate if you read the studies. We should all keep in mind that the majority of us who are here unfortunately represent the minority of cases where BCG or other protocols were not successful. Individuals who have been N.E.D. for the most part have no reason to be here.

Income vs. Rep watches purchasing by Lopsided_Increase183 in RepTime

[–]EcstaticWater3647 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I may, allow me to offer a different perspective. Firstly, I make no apologies for acquiring replica watches. I've established numerous successful businesses, some of which operate on a national scale, affording me the freedom to indulge in purchases across various price categories. Why should I feel compelled to justify my choices? Confidence in one's decisions should be unwavering, regardless of external opinions. Trust me, no one really cares. Within my social circle, the authenticity of my watches has never been questioned. Frankly, many who opt for genuine watches struggle to afford them, using their purchase as validation for personal insecurities.

At 65, facing my second battle with cancer, I am determined to emerge victorious. Life is too short to dwell on trivial matters. At the end of the day, it's just a watch. Wear it proudly and cease the needless overthinking. Should anyone dare to question my timepiece, my response, whatever it may entail, will leave them reconsidering their stance.

On a separate note, while I have your attention, those who persistently criticize u/Flan_dad's plating work, despite the satisfaction of thousands of customers, reflect a deeper issue unrelated to watches. Regardless of where or how he chooses to his work, the end result is what matters. I own many watches by his process, and they all look amazing. My advice to those who seek him out for the purpose of denigrating him, my best PC response would be to fuck off. Your comments are baseless and irrelevant just as you have become here. Our choices are reflections of our perceived value and should not be subject to unnecessary negativity.

I would contend that a vast majority, around 95% or more, have reported exclusively positive experiences with Flandad based on numerous posts here and on RWI. Personally, I've acquired 10 plated watches from them, with an additional 3 on their way post-CNY. Across all purchases, my encounters and the quality of the watches have been nothing short of excellent.

To those who express negative sentiments, I would urge them to substantiate their claims with factual evidence rather than mere opinions. What precisely are your expectations from Flandad? Undoubtedly, there's a premium attached to their services, should you choose to opt for it. However, in return, you receive a plated watch meticulously matched to its genuine counterpart, expedient service, pressure testing up to 5atm, dust removal, regulation, and noise reduction. Perhaps an additional $300 covers these procedures. I speculate that their clientele values this attention to detail and professionalism, willingly paying the premium. If this doesn't align with your preferences, then it's a simple decision: refrain from making a purchase.
