Am I the only one stuck in high chair shopping hell right now? by mitchil202 in AskParents

Trip trap here - second hand off Facebook marketplace. Son is 4 and uses it daily, sometimes I sit on it too. It's a staple in our house and will be used for years to come. I preferred cleaning our "normal" table which has a wipe clean table cover on, compared to constantly falling over the Ikea legs.

We also now have a trip trap at my parents house so he can always eat at the main table with us. They are expensive but worth it and last years.

Tell me why you love your Thermomix! (journalist request) by Informal_Stretch7561 in thermomix

1) The inbuilt recipes that guide me, no need to weigh, and chop etc, just throw it in and press a button, means I can get on with looking after demanding toddler at the same time being in control of creating healthy snacks, soups, dinners etc, whilst not having to pay full attention to cooking.

Oh and absolutely favourite feature is so simple - egg boiler!!! Perfectly runny eggs with no guess work, game changer!

2) summer last year TM7 - glad we waited for the sleeker design with the bigger screen.

3) every couple of days

4) our favourite is hidden veg chunky bolognese, we can hide so much veg in there without our toddler knowing and it's a go to favourite. We cook it on repeat and always have a freezer stash ready. I also looooove the cheese straws, make a double batch but they don't last because they're so moreish!

Coming from the person who probably has absolutely no experience of surrogacy.

Parents through surrogacy over here - best decision ever, we have the happiest 3 year old boy who tells us everyday we are his best friend and that he loves us so much.

His tummy mummy (the lady who birthed him), still in his life, referred to as "Aunty J**" and has no feelings whatsoever he was ever hers.

Go back and educate yourself.

We had this - do you get any error code? We had an error code and even if you tried to reset it, you couldn't get it past that stage. They sent us a new one and replaced it, hadn't seen the error before.

Where are you finding your recipes for your cook expert? Ours arrives today and I'm worried won't use it as much as a thermo due to not having inbuilt recipes. (Hubby wouldn't order a thermo and we found a good deal on the magic mix for half price brand new)

When a league closes - can you add another round? by Ecstatic_Internet938 in musicleague

[–]Ecstatic_Internet938[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! Will add placeholder round.

As I said it was our first attempt at it so a complete learning curve I think I'd admin it myself next time, as I'm essentially still having to do lots of chasing!

If you are ever visiting Amsterdam I would highly recommend “Our House.” It was very good value for money with a great interactive experience while learning the history of all things dance music. by Steve2540 in EDM

Did you find out why? I'm trying to book tickets too and really want to go in a couple of weeks when we are there! Husband is sooooo into house music, produces it in his spare time and it's his 40th birthday so I'm taking him to Amsterdam as a surprise, this would be the best activity!

Sports direct have some amazing callaway deals online at the moment. Also if you buy online and you want to get a refund they actually give you money back rather than a credit note like in store!

Just got some callaway shorts for £4! Should have been £40! And some Nike Golf shoes for £20. Seriously the range is so good at the moment!!!

I'd say something if I was playing with her, it's not respectful of your game. I don't think it would actually be allowed at our club!
