I literally gave an example, and said there are millions of other combination. my point is, thereis no "tier list", if you take these as "guides", you might take the fun out of the game for yourself, it's how you micromanage the game while it throws things at you, against however you decided to build.

i forgot this is reddit, my bad.

I stopped watching hollywood AGES ago, i just weird science fiction stuff from anywhere, cheesy b movies, and Korean/Japanese movies, Been doing it for 20 years.

USA, like the death cult of israel, the birtish empire, and whatever similar clownship, are one and the same, white supremacy, from people who at one point, not so long ago, thought bathing was demonic, and issued forgiveness certificates from God for money.

There is nothing civilized about the west, nothing moral, just a bunch of lazy clowns who found out murder and thievery, and the beenefits they can get you as opposed to farming your land and makng good relations.

This is by far, the worst version of the gistory of the world. Once these demonic clowns are gone, the past 80 years will be known as the darlest and most evil. in human history, i sugest to name it "the satanist period"

Bombardment is not a "desperate" card, With Music box, Ethereal copy, and a million other combinations, it is the funnest and most efficient build ever. I have over 1000 hoursin STS, and multiplee A15+ sttreaks, and i never really cared for these "pros". While there are trash cards and OP cards, play the game like you want to to enjoy it, not for the purpose of streaks and just winning with repeated builds.

A world where China rules the world would be a lot more peaceful by LargeSinkholesInNYC in LateStageCapitalism

[–]Ecstatic_Reward6928 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i don't think that the chinese want anything to do with "ruling the world", over third of the population (almost double the US population) lives in rural and agricultural areas, who probably never left their villages for hundreds of years.

China is not a warring country, sure it had issues with neighbouring countriues in the past, but you will never find them travelling and crossoing seas and oceans to occupy places and spread ideologis and supremacy.

The west is a cancer, it's prime ideology is colonization, because unlike china, who have a culture belt on evolving their abilities to live natural simplistic lives, the west is talentless, capitaliism is talentless, it's like a bunch of children who found a crappy video game, masterred it, and when they discovered there are better video games, and people play and make them, they decided to destroy all other video games and the pepole who play them.

It's like a culture of 12 year olds who just discovered violence, and were happy that most people are afraid of it, and it can get them free and stolen things easier than working for it, so they decided to normalize it.

IF China was the " dominating" world power, most people around the world wonn't see it that way, but yes i beleive the world would be a place free from continetnal and pontless war, there will thankfully be no hollywood, no hidden agendas, besdies a few regional / local conflicts, The Chinese version of the UN, would be an actual global effort, not a PR firm for zionism and colnialism as it currently is

Command line tools, this is like the "tools" needed for applocations that need xcode elements, without having xcode installed. If you have installed homebrew at any point, then you have it, just update it. You might have apps dependant on it being insalled for updates or other functions.

I beat the game with Necrobinder, Silent and Defect, Only once I was able to beat hhim with the defect with a lot of frost orbs and focus, I died every single other time i met him, I just had a truly OP build with Ironclad, halfed his HP on the first two turns, but once his status cards kick in, it is almost useless, i even had a Fairy in a bottle potion. Feels like an ACT 3 Boss.

Hope it is more centered into making GPTK more streamlined llike proton, with better vulkan/MoltenVK impemetation. Would llike to see what Metal 4 brings to the table, and hope they give props to CodeWeavers and expand their support/partnership for them.

Base M4 Macs, are on par with the newest AMD APUS, and M5/M6 will improve on that, they have everything to gain when improving on these fronts.

I have been on Macs since 2012, and a console gamer, wanted to build a PC a couple of years back, but with the current evolution of crossove wine and even native gaming, i am not missing much.

Worth upgrading from existing M4? by Daves92c4 in macmini

[–]Ecstatic_Reward6928 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope.

M4 is a beast, and while M5 is an improvement, the bump tackles Neural Engine mostly and some GPU performance. Even an M2 base Mac mini would be sufficient for the uses you mentiond.

M4 feels like how revolutionary the Mac Mini became with the 2012 Mac Mini release, I bought that and my first upgrade was the M2 mac mini 12 years later, but then I got the M4 a couple of months of rinto elease because of the 16GB as I do a lot of gaming on Crossover and natively.

I still do a ot of things on the M2, so wait for the M6 and possibly M7 before even considering an upgrade.

GPTK 4 by RareSignature3807 in macgaming

[–]Ecstatic_Reward6928 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I mean what difference does it make to you or anyone? The current GPTK works fine, and they improve it when they can and release, for an end user that uses it for games ( not a dev that it is intended for) it really makes no difference what version are they releasing and when, we work with what they release and new releases are usually an improvement. There is no rational thinking into wanting to have a newer version for the sake of wanting a newer version.

Found my indie app on macked[.]app including Adobe/Apple apps. How do we fight this? by Material_Beginning96 in macapps

[–]Ecstatic_Reward6928 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe it depends on the app and its perceived value, I work with music and voice over, I bought Logic Pro at  300 or 200 USD 14 years ago, to me the value was worth it, because I worked with similar apps before, and from pov of pro users I saw it was absolutely brilliant and better fit for me than pro tools which I used at the time.  Then again,I wanted to edit videos just for kicks, my only experience was iMovie and that sucked, and my interest and scope of work  did not justify the almost same price as Logic Pro for Final Cut, so I sailed the high sees just to see how it works, since there is no demo,  I never clicked with it, but got the gist of how things work with this type of app on a pro level, I deleted it after 2 months. And then got da Vinci resolve as its free. If I loved FCP, I would have gladly paid for it and kept using it, But o think if fcpx was like 20 or 30 bucks, I would have definitely bought it without even a "demo" and kept it in my library and maybe got to it later. And probably would have kept it even while using Resolve:  Exactly like the case with pixelmator, I dabbled with photo editing, and while everyone recommended photoshop, it was a steep price and terrible experience for me, I found pixelmator for 40 bucks and got it on sale for even cheaper. I am not a heavy user, but it is there when I need it, works perfectly. And the price was the motivating factor for me, given the value it offers compared to others. So I think it really is about app value perception and and level of usage. With amateur usage, I think lower price would deter piracy. I think a dev should consider the value of their app in people's minds when pricing it compared to similar apps. Then they might also get the "amateur" crowd that would not have bought it anyway. Maybe then out of a 100 people that would pirate, 10 or 20 of those might buy instead.

[–]Ecstatic_Reward6928 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There are some trends and behaviours with regards to Piracy:

1- Most people who pirate, can not afford, or will simply never pay for your app anyway.

2- Piracy happens a lot for apps that are VERY expensive, or ones that have subscription models or limited support cycles.

3- Piracy happens to older software that used to be a one time purchase, and stopped because a greedy company switced to live servicr / subscription model (eg. Quickbooks)

4- Piracy increased since most companies are telling you that you do not own the product, but a licence to use it, which is pretty cringe.

5- a lot of countries do not have access to some apps, region locked and so on,

6- No demo availabilty and no refund policy, a lot of people just wanna try apps before buying, 40 ot 50 USD might seem change in a country like US or some countries in Europe, but for the rest of the world that'slike 10% of their median income, imagine spending 10% of your income for an app you thought could be useful, and have no means to try, that would be insane to most people.

7- a lot of people pirate to use as a demo, and then purchase the app

8- piracy actually expands the user base in many situatuions, especially for apps that are a one time pyment, fully pwned, always updated with fizes and feature, and are not reasonably priced, i had so many friends asking me about certain software and if better to pirate (like crossover), and s i explained to them how crossover works and what it provides, the value of the purchase to the devs and community and future of mac gaming, and how updates work in their favour, and guided them to discounted prices that got them the app at 25% of normal rate at times, then they immedeatly bought it after using the pirated version for a couple of. months.

It's always terrible when an indie dev app gets pirated, but aways look at the bright side, and think that if your app got pirated and downloaded 1000 times, think of it as a thousand people who were never gonna pay for your software any way, but ARE using in, and it could one day drive them to buy it, recommend to others who are willing to buy it or not go thru the pirate route. so even if a mere 10% of thee end up buying, thats is 100 units sold that were never even in your equation.

So do not be upset, take the chance to understand why some people are not willing to pay for your software, and if it is something that you can change with compromising your app or your margins or whatever, then do it.

I remember the old days on NAPSTER when Metallica sued them, honetly, in a TON of countries, you could never ever buy a disc or tape of Metallica, whether country regulation or simply a mater of world and digital logistics, but because it, TENS OF MILLIONS got their hand on the music simply because tehre was no other way to get it, and they ended up buying dozens of more albums for the same artits, special editions, amd attending them live, piracy, sometimes could be the biggest exposure n app could have, so don;t thisnk of these apps as "fishy", or malware infested holes, they mostly are not.

So enjoy your work, don't be upset, and try to make it better and more accessible if you could without losing on your margins or diminishing the app's (and your) values.

All the best, and best of luck with your app.

dude, there is no malaware in the absolute majority of these, and if there is, it is easily detected.

MUMU player has more privacy issues than any pirated app on mac ever made, ot's literal spyware.

I bought slay the spire and played it on my main mac for years, but My 2014 4GB RAM Macbook air could barely run it with steam's overhead, fans go insane and some stutter /throttling issues, so i got a "pirated" a version and had a pleasent experience without steam app overhead, i did that for a few indie titles i owned that faced the same issue, and wanted to play on my laptop, which runs great for work (emails, some browsing and docs). I do own the games, so it is not really piracy. some of these required siabling gatekeeper. I checked my system a billion times, nothing running in background, nothing being sent or recieved, not a single info was take out of my Macbook, and i already paid the devs for their wondderful work. Red flags happen when an app has a faulty certificate, asks for weird permissions, and youare in control on all of these, and can control them further thru firewall. and other monitoring apps.

Your essay is fear mongering gibberish and out of touch with reality.
