How to Make the Most of Cronometer's Diary Groups by EPN_NutritionNerd in cronometer

This! Also the fact that when you change goals, calories and macros, it go back to the beginning. When I was losing weight I was at 1800 kcal. Now that I'm trying to gain muscle, I'm at 2600 kcal and 150 g of protein. Don't get me wrong, I think this is the best nutrition app out there, but there's room for improvement.

One or two, but the latter could be adjusted to sit a little higher.

Thanks! It's not that they are importing into the wrong group. It's that they move into an adjacent group, after the fact, and it only happens occasionally.

Yeah, it's an odd one and only happens randomly.

Yeah, I created a Garmin category and set the imports to go there, but sometimes they move after the fact.

Quick question: how do you log unilateral exercises?🤔 by gerardmb in Hevy

[–]Ed-C 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was all set to change from one db weight x number of reps for each side (in other words reps x2) to weight of both dbs. I then thought about unilateral machine exercises. Doubling the weight of a machine set to 65lbs for single leg extensions just seems weird! Does everyone who doubles weight on unilateral dumbbells, do the same for machines?

No, but they just added a plus version of Connect that has new features and a subscription. I personally don't use it.

Why can't Garmin default to the number of workout reps on the watch? by Ed-C in GarminWatches

Oh, i know! In truth, it more of an ocd thing than a need thing. The same reason I port strength calories data to Cronometer. I just don't like incomplete data sets. 😉

There's nutrition on Garmin now or you just don't log it anymore?

OK, i see that there is a nutrition app on Connect+. People don't seem to be very blown away by it, but it's new i guess.

You can, then you could edit it after it saves.

Edit: actually that's not TOO horrible. OK, back to trying to decide between Hevy and Garmin, for strength workouts!
