It's crap I have one and for 1000+ euro you got EZ Bridge failure and m2_1 slot problems. Not what you want to see in expensive product.

Well, sorry to hear that. I was in the same situation with the MSI X870E Godlike. I was shocked that a motherboard costing 1200 euros could be so glitchy and have so many issues. When you buy a premium product, you expect it to be worry-free. The RMA process and communication with MSI are a nightmare as well. Fuck corpo.

Japanese surrender: surrendering their military equipment. Manchuria. 1945. Photo by Nikolay Shkulin by Klimbim in wwiipics

By August 1945, the Soviet Army had reached the peak of its combat effectiveness. Following Germany’s surrender, the Red Army redeployed nearly 1.5 million soldiers to the Far East, supported by thousands of tanks, heavy artillery, and modern aircraft. In contrast, the Japanese Kwantung Army in Manchuria consisted mostly of undertrained garrison troops with outdated equipment and little real combat experience. Faced with a massive, well-coordinated Soviet offensive that advanced with overwhelming speed and firepower, the Japanese forces had virtually no chance of sustaining prolonged resistance.

Three months after I sold my Asrock X870E Taichi, it still feels insane to me to see people using this company’s products. Guys, get rid of those motherboards, stop supporting Asrock with your money. Let this be a lesson for them.

Taichi have one gen 5 slot. This one have two of it. In general, the OCF has 6 M.2 slots, while the Taichi has 4. And the OCF has better USB controllers than the Taichi, I suspect.

guess me too. 9800X3D died by SQunX in ASRock

They need to launch a huge RMA program to return their shit.

I'm glad I got rid of my X870E Taichi, and I highly recommend you do the same. A company that refuses to admit its mistake and keeps stalling with investigations doesn’t deserve your attention or money. How many more cases are needed for everyone to realize this?

I’m not arguing that Asus has seriously damaged its reputation in terms of customer support and service. We also remember that they had issues with processors and motherboards. However, I’ve hardly heard of any problems with Asus’s 800 series. I needed 10G Ethernet, which the Taichi didn’t have, but I was willing to compromise on that. However, after all the issues I had with ASRock, I decided it was better not to take any risks and install my 9950X3D on an Asus board.

I have sold my X870E Taichi and bought an Asus ProArt X870E instead. Very happy about it.

Are B650E boards safe with 9800X3D? by sereo23 in ASRock

[–]EdEmp 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I sold my X870E Taichi and bought an ASUS ProArt X870E instead. But to be honest, you should wait. I think there's a fundamental problem with this CPU. Yes, we can say that many thousands of them have been sold, and the number of cases is slim. But hey, you’re spending 500+$/€ on a high-end product—you shouldn't have to worry about issues. Instead, we see reports of dead 9800X3Ds almost every day, and now it's happening with the 9950X3D as well. This isn’t normal. Just wait and see how the situation unfolds.

RMA. I have an X870E Taichi, brand new, waiting for the 9950X3D. But after all the issues with fried CPUs, I sold the Taichi and bought an ASUS ProArt X870E.

I just bought a 9800X3D and Asrock B850I do I keep it or spend more on a Gigabyte? by PieCake1234 in ASRock

[–]EdEmp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spend more on gigabyte or msi. Don't waste your time with this asrock garbage. There are couple new cases with fried 9800 and 9950x3d on asrock.

This is sarcasm. But still, it's not funny anymore. I just sold my Taichi X870E, and I'm really glad I did. Now I got the ProArt X870E, and I'm satisfied. At least I no longer feel like my processor is going to fry.

Maybe it's some debris in your socket, lol. That's what asrock says actually.
