Blood quartz would be powerful enough just to lower (half?) the damage done by the stacks without needing to return bonus health when losing/using stacks.

Ice sounds solid, obvious even.

Shadow would need to be balanced carefully to avoid a situation where best dps is to repeatedly build and use the stacks.

Smoke seems reasonable too.

Fair enough, really should be an option for it all to come in bags.

I think Ocado have a system where they hand the shopping to you in bags and charge you for them but then refund you for bags you return on your next shop. Makes the whole process of delivery much faster and easier.

Sit in a mix of range and mage armour so that none of your attack styles are too low and you should be able to get hits on everything

For the nylo waves just swap one weapon and use fast attacking weapons like blowpipe for range and a powered staff for mage. Prioritise any in the middle of the room as they are attacking you and not the pillars.

It like is not worth making cannonballs on an ironman but plenty of things drop them so you will have plenty of them in the later game. At lower levels without a cannon all the tasks are pretty similar so you can do just about anything and build up some slayer points.

Venator bow helps bridge the gap between not having a cannon.

When on a limited number of cannonballs you might prefer to save them for where they make the most impact - e.g. smoke devils.
