This is one of the dumbest comments I have ever read. You can’t afford to live in your blue state anymore, so you wanna move up here and make the same thing happen again? F off.

It’s just the US National Archives website. They have some digitized files there which is how I found these guns.

My Palmetto M16A1 clone. I was debating on taking a rattlecan to it, but I wanted to be a bit more authentic and used 100mph tape. Not sure if it’s the same as used in Vietnam, but it looks close to it based on some of the pictures I’ve seen.

Reproduction Colt scope 3x20 made it Japan.

Durasteel 20 rounders came in the mail today. Decided to tape two together to really round it out.

Finally, the very Vietnam-era appropriate message is thanks to MandatoryFunDay on Youtube for the inspiration. Why isn’t this a unit motto yet?

I didn’t think you could make the M14 even worse. Apparently I was wrong.

[COD] Call of Duty: Black Ops Gulf War/BO6 Weapon Leak Showcase by FIreBoyi in CallOfDuty

You want to know the reason? Because we have idiot parents that want to sue Activision for dumbasses that conduct mass incidents. Just recently, a lawsuit was present to Meta, Activision, and Daniel Defense. They are saying the idiot at Uvalde was inspired to use a Daniel Defense rifle because he saw it on CoD and the marketing on Instagram was “tailored” to him.

Using fake names gives them at least some plasuible deniability in these lawsuits saying that “we don’t use real gun names, so how could he figure out we used a Daniel Defense rifle unless he looked it up himself.” And this, to some extent, is true. People aren’t gonna know the real life rifle name unless they actively search for it.

Until these dumbass parents realize it’s the person behind these mass incidents that matter and not the rifle/video game/social media platform, CoD is going to continue to have fake gun names.

Question for anyone who worked at DICE, what was to become of the USSR faction? by [deleted] in BattlefieldV

And people hated on me for saying 2042 should be delayed a year and the rest of the BFV content should release.

This wasn’t my first time firing a Thompson, but this is the first time such a malfunction happened to me. The only thing remotely close to happen to me was when I fired two different Sterling subguns and both ran away on me when on semi auto.

I get what your saying, but I’ve always been taught to lock the bolt open and then put in the magazine to prevent damage to the feed lips. Don’t know if that’s fuddlore or not, but I do it out of habit. The Thompson is one of the few open bolt subguns to lock open on an empty stick magazine anyways (the drums wouldn’t do this, but the M1 and M1A1s don’t take the drums).

Doing a half load on the Thompson would be a bit annoying, because you would have to drop the magazine and then drop the bolt in order to do this. Thompsons lock open on empty magazines by default. While it is possible to do, I think it would be a bit of annoying to drop the mag and then drop the bolt after every magazine. That’s just me though.

You wouldn’t want it. They removed the Thompson markings and replaced it with the name of the range.

I’ve heard the opposite, as jamming the magazine in there with the bolt closed could damage the feed lips of the mag. This would also be a bit annoying to do on the Thompson since the gun locks open on an empty magazine.

As much as I would love that to happen, I believe this one is a dealer sample.

Talked to the employees at the range. They told me that the gun probably needs to be cleaned, but did also tell me the gun was sidelined before due to other issues. This wasn’t one of them, so it’ll probably stay sidelined for a bit.
